No More Big Brother Evictee Interviews!!!

Amber finally left the Big Brother 8 house last night, bawling as usual. But she won’t face any questions about her in-house actions until after the finale, if then. Following the AP’s revelation that CBS wouldn’t allow journalists to ask Amber about her horrible comments, the network has decided there won’t be any interviews with her or anyone else. (“CBS wasn’t granting evictee interviews” anymore, AP blog The Slug says.) That apparently even applies to CBS’ own staff. When Amber was evicted, Julie Chen, told her, “You’re off to the jury house, but we’ll see you back here on the 18th.” Amber did not appear on the Early Show this morning, although as late as last night, the show’s site teased that the “latest ‘Big Brother 8’ castoff” would appear, and Jen appeared last week. We’ll see if the ban sticks for next week’s double-eviction victims. As the show approaches its finale, two people will leave the house next Thursday, temporarily adding some drama but then leaving the house more barren and empty than it is now.Outside the house, Amber did speak to Julie Chen, who was literally sparkling with glitter. For a while, Amber didn’t say anything about God, who you’ll recall told Amber that she’d be in the final two. When Julie asked Amber, “Do you believe that he didn’t want you to win?” Amber replied with double-negatives that made it hard to figure out exactly what she was saying. “Honestly, I don’t believe that he didn’t want me to win; I made a lot of mistakes in this game,” she said.Amber also commented about people in the house who were “being rude, just nasty, negative energy that they send out in the house. You can tell a good person from a bad person,” she said, but she was not, apparently, referring to herself. Interestingly, for what I think was the first time, Julie Chen revealed the breakdown of America’s vote: “78 percent of you wanted [Eric] to evict Amber,” she said, and also told Eric that he’s won “$30,000 to date” for completing 17 of 24 tasks. Also on the live show, we heard from Eric’s quasi-girlfriend, which Julie Chen teased by saying, embarrassingly, “Are Eric’s feelings for Jessica real? Or is America’s Player, America’s Playa?” Even our usually robotic host couldn’t keep a straight face. The new HOH wasn’t revealed on the live show, because the houseguests had to transfer colored water across a slippery surface (covered in corn oil and baby oil) using just a teacup. Julie told us that with a three-ounce cup and a 16-gallon container, “that’s about 683 trips back and forth, or seven miles. Even if they run, it could take all night to fill those tanks.”But of course it did not; the HOH competition was actually over in about two hours, apparently because they were able to increase the number of cups they were using. The winner was (highlight to read) Zach . During the new HOH’s reign, Janelle will return to run the POV Tuesday, in advance of the live double eviction next Thursday. And then just four will remain.

Thursday Live Eviction Episode REcap 08/30/07

In the HoH bedroom, Jessica is sobbing and telling Eric that she doesn't feel right putting up two people that she doesn't have a problem with. Eric tells Jessica, "Amber does not really like you, and you do not really like her." Jessica: "No, I don't.." Their conversation is interrupted by Amber, who pleads that they should want "a good person" to win the game. Amber leaves and Jessica says that she wants to evict Zach.

Meanwhile, in the BY, Dick is working on a commitment from Zach. Zach willingly offers his allegiance to him and Daniele, but Zach has promised Eric that he'll help him get Dick and Daniele evicted. Amber returns to the HoH room to cast aspersions on Eric's loyalty, and that he has a girlfriend back home. Amber asks that Jessica not say anything to Eric, but when Eric feels Jessica's hiding something, he confronts her and she tells him everything. Eric explains all of Amber's allegations to Jessica's satisfaction.

Julie talks to the HGs: "Greetings houseguests. : HGs: "Hi, Julie" Julie: "This week you all got naked for a shopping spree. Jessica, in the beginning you were nervous but by the end you were calling it your best day in the Big Brother house. Why?" Jessica: "I was really nervous because I'm pretty conservative girl when I'm back at home. But after I took my clothes off, I was like oh, it is a whole new me. It was a lot of fun." Julie: "Glad you had a good time. Daniele, when you learned that Nick was waiting in the wings to help you play 'The Power of Ten,' you got very emotional. If you had gotten to see him what would you have said to him?" Daniele: "One, five, three. You know t is really hard being in this house knowing that somebody was there to see me. I honestly thought I wasn't going to find out who it was. And I think I would have preferred not knowing who it was until I was out of here it is just a hard situation, you know. I really do wish that Nick was still in the house. And there is honestly a lot that I would like to say for him but I can sum it up in those three numbers." Julie: "Can you decode them for us." Daniele: "No, he knows what it is." Julie: "Okay. Amber, you could have walked away with $10,000 on 'The Power of Ten.' But instead you tried your hand at $100 grand and ended up with only one grand. Any regrets?" Amber: "I regretted it a little bit at first because I felt like it was a selfish move. But I felt like I got put in that position for a reason. And I had to go for it for my family and you know, I definitely don't regret it at all. It was an experience of a lifetime. And I learned a lot from it." Julie: "Thanks, Amber.

Dick. Robin from Middletown, Delaware has a viewer question for you. But pictures speak louder than words." They showed a montage of clips showing Dick spitting. Julie: "Well, Robin asks, 'Why do you spit so much?'" Dick: "I have no idea, Julie, it's just -- I don't know. Like walking and talking, really." Julie: "Thank you, everyone."

Inside the house some have criticized Jameka for her faith. Now her church and family speak out. In a clip from Jameka's church, the preacher gives a shout out to Jameka: "Hey, I want to give a shout out to one of our members, her name is Jameka Cameron. And she is on a show called Big Brother 8. We love you, Jameka and we are praying for you." Danita, Jameka's older sister said, "Jameka is a great young lady. I think she loves the Lord. And I believe God has ordained for Jameka to be on this show, you know, Jameka is a great example of a Christian person. " She went on to comment, "When I saw Jameka letting it rip on Dick, I was like, go sis!" See the Video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1066970bqzaARxw

When it was revealed that Eric would be America's player his family was afraid that it would destroy his game. But could a showmance do the same. His brothers and the girl he left behind tell us what they think. Eric's brother Josh, the lawyer weighs in on the subject, "My whole family are huge reality TV fans as a whole. I'm Josh, Eric's older brother. I have been watching Big Brother the entire summer on CBS, on Showtime, on the internet. I have been talking about it with fans on message boards. It really has been my life this summer. I think that Eric is currently in the best position he's been all summer. Aligning with Dick allowed the American people to really align with Eric. I'm optimistic that by aligning with Dick and Daniele, Eric and Jessica have a foursome that can get themselves it to the end."
"It was never Eric's intention going into this game to have a romantic fling. The fact that it happened anyway indicates that he had true interest. Cheryl was his e girlfriend who is on-again, off-again for over four years. But about three weeks before he entered the Big Brother house he did consider getting back together with her, and she was not interested."
Eric's younger brother assures us Eric's single, "Eric may have lied about America's player but if there is one thing Eric has been 100% honest about is that he is not dating anyone. Cheryl is not his girl friend at the time he entered this house."
Next, Cheryl clues us in: "I have been going out with Eric for four and a half years. I miss him. I miss him but watching him on TV, I get excited for him. I basically prep myself up before each episode, I am like his little cheerleader. Jessica and Eric in the house right now, they're completely forming a bond. The thing is, you can't help but be a little jealous. You can't. That's just human nature. Oh, now I am going to cry. "
See the Video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1066992hWkSSc3k

Now let's go live to the HoH room and join Jessica, the current head of household. Julie: "Hello, Jessica. " Jessica: "Hi, Julie. " Julie: "As Jen left last week she told her to warn you about a relationship she might have outside the house. What did you think of that news?" Jessica: "Well, coming from the source of Jen, I didn't know if I could trust Jen in the game. And I felt it was kind of a last effort to maybe stir up some stuff in the house. So I listened to what Amber had to same. And then I also spoke with Eric. And you know, I've trusted Eric the whole time throughout the game. So I went ahead and trusted him again and didn't believe what Jen said." Julie: "When the two of you shared your first kiss the other day, your first reaction was, 'about time.' Why do you think it took him so long?" Jessica: "Um, just the pressure of knowing you are on TV and people are always watching. And we're supposed to be here for a game but we still like each other. So it was just, you know, crazy." Julie: "Well you and Eric have an alliance with Dick and Daniele. If it does come down to Dick and Daniele and Eric and you in the final four, who do you think will be the first one out?" Jessica: "Well, I think a lot of people think that I will be the first one out. But I think a lot of people are underestimating how competitive of a person I am. And so I'm going to try my best to make it to the end and make sure it's someone else and not me." Julie: "Thank you, Jessica."

The live vote is next: Jameka voted to evict Zach, 78% of America voted to evict Amber, Dick voted to evict Amber, as did Daniele. Amber was evicted 3:1. She wasn't very surprised when Julie read the results, she did cry, but carried herself well and hugged everyone, and wished them luck. Her final words. "There's leftover steak in the bottom of the fridge." Amber complimented Julie on her outfit, and although tearful, it was one of Amber's finer moments. IMHO Julie: "You've also said that what happens in the Big Brother house is in God's hands. Do you believe that he didn't want you to win?" Amber: " Honestly, I don't believe that he didn't want me to win. I made a lot of mistakes in this game by evicting Nick. You know, trusting certain people. And I feel like, you know, I was on TV. I was shown to the world. I feel like there is something in this for me, whether it is me to be an inspirational speaker, going to nursing school, something's going to come out of it."
See the Video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1067016Sn3GjCFc

The power is up for grabs: Jessica, the current HoH is not eligible to compete and neither is Jameka who gave up her chance to compete for five weeks. This is week number four. Julie: "Tonight's competition is called the Big Brother tea party. Each you is standing next to a teapot filled with 55 gallons of tea. You must transfer the tea from your teapot to your tank at the end of your walkway as fast as you can. As the level in the tank rises, so will the silver ball that is in it. Your goal is to pour enough tea into your tank so the silver ball rises high enough for to you get it out. The first houseguest to carry their silver ball to the finish line will be the new head of household. Does everyone understand? " Julie: "Now the container that you will be using to transfer your tea is under the silver dome. Go ahead and remove the dome. " Each player got a little eat cup. Julie: "The competition competition starts -- starts now. If you think it will take a long time to fill up those large glass tanks, you're right. The cups hold only three ounces of tea and it takes 16 gallons to figure up those tanks. That is about 683 trips back and forth or seven miles. Even if they run it could take all night to fill those tanks."
Julie: "The HoH competition is under way and the houseguests are racing to fill their tanks with tea. What they don't know is that we're about to make things a lot more slippery with a concoction of corn oil and baby oil." Streams of the slippery stuff shot up onto the floor. Everyone continued to carry their cups to the tank at the end of their ally.
See the Video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1067070awYrEfwz

Who do you want Eric to get nominated It's your choice.
Julie gives out some program information: "Tuesday at 9:00, 8:00 central, a very special Power of Veto competition will be hosted by Big Brother All-Star, Janelle. Next Thursday at 8:00 we will have you a shocker for the houseguests. They won't know it but by the end of the hour, two of them will be evicted. It's a double live eviction."

Dwight sent home on Canadian Idol

Dwight D'eon was sent home this week on Canadian Idol after performing 2 less than stellar songs. I have to say it was about time he was voted off. Just two more weeks left until we find out who will win this year's Idol title. I am rooting for Brian Melo.

Dancing With The Stars Correct Cast Revealed

Apparently the cast list of the upcoming Dancing With The Stars that was leaked yesterday was incorrect. The correct cast was revealed by ABC today. There are a few changes such as Tori Spelling is not part of the cast and Giselle Bunchen is also not on the list. Here is the correct cast list along with the pros they will be dancing with:

ABC has revealed the identities of the 12 celebrities who will be waltzing their way into primetime when Dancing with the Stars' fifth season premieres with a 90-minute performance episode on Monday, September 24 at 8PM ET/PT.

The fifth-season celebrity cast announcement was made this morning on ABC's Good Morning America by Dancing with the Stars' judge Carrie Ann Inaba, host Tom Bergeron and fourth-season celebrity champ Apolo Anton Ohno.

The 12 celebrity two-steppers who will compete for Dancing with the Stars' fifth-season mirror ball trophy are Spice Girl Melanie Brown; former Beverly Hills 90210 actress Jennie Garth; supermodel Josie Maran; Disney's The Cheetah Girls star Sabrina Bryan; entertainer Marie Osmond; actress Jane Seymour; entertainer Wayne Newton; IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves; professional boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.; billionaire entrepreneur and former The Benefactor star Mark Cuban; soap star Cameron Mathison; and supermodel Albert Reed.

Although ABC had declined to comment on any casting reports, Brown, Newton and Cuban's participations had all been previously reported. In addition, Garth's publicist had also previously confirmed her participation in the show. Julianne Hough -- the defending Dancing with the Stars professional partner champion who won the series' fourth season with Ohno -- will return for the show's fifth edition. She'll be paired with Castroneves. There will also be some sibling rivalry during Dancing with the Stars 5, as Hough's brother Derek will make his first appearance as a professional partner. He'll be paired with Garth.

Alec Mazo, the professional dancer who won Dancing with the Stars' inaugural season with Kelly Monaco but was part of the first team eliminated when he paired with fourth-season participant Paulina Porizkova (Mazo didn't participate in the show's second and third seasons), will return for the fifth installment. He'll be paired with Maran.

Cameron Mathison will be paired with Mazo's fiance Edyta Sliwinska -- the only professional dancer to appear in all five installments of Dancing with the Stars. After the unfavorable pairings of Evander Holyfield in Season 1 and George Hamilton in Season 2, she got lucky and did well with Joey Lawrence in the third season. However lady luck turned a blind eye to Sliwinska last season, when her original partner, The Sopranos actor Vincent Pastore, dropped out of the competition and she was instead paired with Cheers actor John Ratzenberger.

Cheryl Burke -- a two-time Dancing with the Stars professional partner champion who won the series' second season with former 98 Degrees member Drew Lachey and its third season with former NFL star Emmitt Smith before finishing fourth with Ian Ziering last season -- will have her toughest test yet. She'll be dancing with Newton, Dancing with the Stars' second oldest celebrity ever (behind only Hamilton in Season 2).

Spice Girl Melanie Brown will dance with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who was paired with Tia Carrerre in the show's second season; Willa Ford in its third season; and Laila Ali last season. Seymour will also be dancing with a veteran, Tony Dovolani, who was paired with Stacy Keibler during the show's second season; Sarah Evans during its third; and Leeza Gibbons last season.

Karina Smirnoff -- who made her Dancing with the Stars' debut during the third season and was the runner-up with Mario Lopez before being paired with Billy Ray Cyrus last season -- will also return for the show's fifth installment. She'll be paired with Mayweather. Cuban will dance with

Kym Johnson, the Australian Dancing with the Stars second season champion who made her American debut with Jerry Springer during the third season and finished as the runner-up last season with Joey Fatone.

Jonathan Roberts -- who paired with Rachel Hunter during Dancing with the Stars first season and Giselle Fernandez during the second season before taking the third season off and pairing with Heather Mills last season -- is back for his fourth season. He'll be paired with Osmond.

Roberts' wife Anna Trebunskaya -- who finished second with Jerry Rice during the show's second season and did not participate in the last two installments -- will be back for the fifth season. She'll be paired with Reed.

Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan will be dancing with Mark Ballas, a professional dancer who will be making his Dancing with the Stars debut during the fifth season.

Noticeably absent from Dancing with the Stars' professional roster for the second season in a row is Ashly DelGrosso. After dancing in the first three installments, she didn't participate in the show's Spring 2007 fourth edition because she was pregnant with her first child -- whom she gave birth to on July 27 -- presumably leading to her absence from the fifth season.

As with a majority of the professional dancers, Inaba and fellow judges Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli are also scheduled to return for Dancing with the Stars' fifth season. While Bergeron will also reprise his hosting role, People reported Wednesday that producers are still looking for a replacement for co-host Samantha Harris once she goes on maternity leave. Harris had announced she was pregnant with her first child during a fourth-season broadcast and is due in early October. "My hope is to be there for the beginning of the season for a week or two, maybe three, have the baby and maybe be gone for two, three, four weeks," she told People. "If I'm lucky enough to have a quick recovery, [I'll] be back on the show for the rest of the season."

Dancing with the Stars 5 will debut with two 90-minute performance episodes on Monday, September 24 and Tuesday, September 25 that will both air at 8PM ET/PT. In a twist from previous seasons, People reported that the six female celebrity participants will compete on Monday night, with their six male counterparts doing the same on Tuesday. "[The decision to split the cast was deliberate] so you can actually get to know the people and see them all over two nights," executive producer Conrad Green told People. "There are a lot of stories to tell - what they have been through, how they got here, their backgrounds, their motivations for doing it." The following night, ABC will cap off the show's fifth-season premiere week with a special Wednesday at 8PM ET/PT broadcast of Dancing with the Stars 5's first one-hour results show, which will send one celebrity contestant and his or her professional partner home.

Dancing with the Stars' fifth season will settle into its regular time periods the following week, with 90-minute performance episodes airing Mondays at 8PM ET beginning October 1 and one-hour results shows airing Tuesdays at 9PM ET beginning October 2.

BB 8 Tuesday Episode Recap 08/28/07

After the nominations, Amber prays, and Zach looks scared. Jameka still thinks that Jessica and Eric are planning to backdoor Daniele or Dick. Jameka tells Amber that if the nominations stay the same that Zach will be the one to go.
Checking up on this season's showmance. from the DR, Jessica says she definitely sees wedding bells in the future.
Jameka is praying in the HoH room when Jessica walks in on her and thinks something's wrong. Jessica: "What are you doing down there girl?!" Jameka: "Just praying." Jessica: "Oh, I'm sorry. You okay.?" Jameka: "Thanks so much, Jess." Jessica: "Jameka! You're going to make me cry." Jessica goes on to tell Jameka that, "Even though I don't talk about it here a lot, I am in, like, way into church, too. But I'm just telling you, like, I just don't talk about it a lot here because, like, I don't-- I don't go to church while I'm here and i feel like Ii can't. But I do, and so, like, praying-- like... totally cool with everything." She tells Jameka that she went to a Catholic private school when and went to church every morning for a "shorter mass." From the DR, Jameka says, "When Jessica shared with me that she is really into church, that was just nice to hear. I never had that experience. At all."
Zach tries to talk Jessica into backdooring Dick or Daniele. From the DR, Jessica says that they (Eric and her) have a deal with Dick and Daniele, and Jessica would really like to get one of them out, she doesn't trust the Donatos at all.
Next, all the HGs got to see where Amber and Daniele went on their trip that they won during last week's PoV contest. They got to see the trip, and the show. Daniele only got to see Nick on tape, they didn't see each other in person. The HGs didn't seem to have their hearts in cheering them on. Interestingly, the HGs have been wondering who the new host of "The Price Right" will be and when Drew Carey says it's him, the HGs ponder it for a moment and discard the comment as a joke.
Before the PoV contest Zach once again campaigns to Eric to backdoor a Donato. When they went outside for the veto competition the whole yard was transformed into a swampy, like spider-webby, gross are forest. Dick hosts the challenge. "Houseguests, this lazy cat before you is hungry. To win the power of veto, you must satisfy his craving for some juicy rats. Each of you will stand on your tree stump, and the cat will utter a word or phrase. The word or phrase is the answer to a riddle that can be found on a rat hidden in the swamp. I must find a rat with the riddle that matches the answer and bring the rat to the hungry cat. But, are careful! If you are the last to bring him his meal, you will be eliminated. The last player standing before him will win the Golden Power of Veto."
The Cheshire cat in the tree speaks: "Hello, houseguests. Are you ready to play some catscratch veto? The answer to the riddle is Dustin. Go." So everyone had to find a rat with a riddle, where the answer is "Dustin." When everyone brings back a rat, the cat asks, "What rat have you brought back?" and each player reads the riddle on the rat, "He was number six to go, enemy to one named Joe." and "Parading in his cape and crown, his eviction made him frown." Jessica was the last to bring back a rat, and was eliminated. In the next round, the cat wants a riddle where the answer is "slop." The riddle was, "This concoction is crude, barely passes as food." and "Your outlook seems bleak when you eat this for a week." Jameka was the last back. In the next , round Daniele was eliminated in a round that ironically included her name in the riddle, "His heart rang like a bell for houseguest Daniele." Zach was out next, giving Eric his first win.
Eric gets his next America's player task: "In order to accomplish this task you must kiss the houseguest America has chosen for you." Even Eric assumes we'd vote for Evil Dick, but in some bizarre twist, Eric was given the task of kissing Jessica. [Why America, why?]

Jeff Probst Discusses Survivor China contestants

The heat and humidity are "indescribable." The snakes are deadly. And China is one of Survivor's most difficult locations ever. Despite all that, host Jeff Probst -- speaking by phone from the rugged camp near the vast man-made Zhelin Lake in eastern China -- admits he'd like to stay longer. "Usually I want to go home," he says. "But if somebody said, ‘You have to stay another two weeks,' I'd say, ‘All right.'" The CBS show, which has been granted unprecedented access to some of China's greatest sites including the Shaolin Temple and the Great Wall, goes Chinese all the way. Probst says the first episode (premiering Sept. 20 at 8 PM/ET) involves a Buddhist ceremony, which a few tribe members find emotionally overwhelming. A 100-foot-tall replica of a historic temple has been built as the tribal-council set. Plus, players receive The Art of War, Sun Tzu's sixth-century B.C. treatise on military strategy. They're going to need it. "Survivor is a war," Probst says. "The book deals with leadership and how you defeat the other tribe. It's interesting how much it plays into the game all the way through."

Fei Long (Flying Dragon) Tribe:

1. Aaron Reisberger: 32, Venice, California; surfing instructor, bartender, restaurant manager.Jeff's take:"Aaron is a threat. He's a charming, good-looking guy, and he's got a side to him that's cold like steel. He's a bartender and he told us that he sizes up people fast to get a bigger tip. He'd tell you one thing and there was always something else going on. He's the guy who could be playing everybody."

2. Courtney Yates: 26, New York City; waitressJeff's take:"Courtney's not the kind of girl who wakes up and says, ‘Should we go catch fish?' She'll say, ‘I need a cup of coffee and a cigarette!' She admits she can be a bitch with a negative attitude. At first, she is off-putting. But there's something oddly appealing because she's being real. She's tiny, but she can take care of herself with her mouth alone."

3. Amanda Kimmel: 23, Kalispell, Montana; hiking tour guide, beauty pageant winnerJeff's take:"Amanda probably is the most physically fit woman this season, very strong and confident. She's been outdoors a lot and she's not afraid of sticks or stones. Plus, she really knows the show -- she's watched every episode -- and after 15 seasons, that's an advantage."

4. Jean-Robert Bellande: 36; Las Vegas; professional poker playerJeff's take:"He's a big guy with a big, big personality, exactly what you want a poker player on Survivor to be. Jean-Robert will tell you what he's going to do and you don't know if he'll do it or not, because he's a card player."

5. Leslie Nease: 38, Tega Cay, South Carolina; Christian-radio host, fitness instructorJeff's take:"Being a Christian-radio host can hurt you if your religious beliefs come ahead of making decisions in this game -- say, you can't lie to somebody because of your faith. On the other hand, people might trust you and you could pull the wool over their eyes."

6. Denise Martin: 40, Douglas, Massachusetts; school lunch lady, black belt in karateJeff's take:"Denise is a likable, blue-collar woman with the most lovely mullet. She has it, she tells us, because it fits her life. There's nothing pretentious about her. She's very honest and endearing and a hard worker. I just adore Denise."

7. Todd Herzog: 22, Pleasant Grove, Utah; flight attendantJeff's take:"Todd is a Survivor superfan who's wanted to be on since he was 14. Next to Courtney, he's probably the smallest person here. He's what you look for -- a great personality who knows how to play this game."

8. James Clement: 30, Lafayette, Louisiana; burial service owner, grave diggerJeff's take:"He is without question the biggest guy we've had on this show. He's actually a gentle giant, a very decent guy who works extremely hard. But if you rile him up, he'll let you know what he's thinking."

Zhan Hu (Fighting Tiger) Tribe:

1. Peih-Gee Law: 29, Marina Del Rey, California; music-video dancer turned jewelerJeff’s take:"Historically, Peih-Gee's qualities don't bode well. She's quick with an opinion and she's got a lot of them. But Peih-Gee is a player -- she's smart and knows how to work with people even though she may have no idea what they're saying behind her back. She understands you can be bossy and make it work."

2. Dave Cruser: 37, Simi Valley, California; model/actor turned bartenderJeff’s take:"Dave is crazy. To his credit, he's a workaholic but sometimes to a fault. He fully embraces The Art of War from a strategic point of view -- like, how to work with his tribe. Dave jumps out in the first few days and he's a delight to watch in his zaniness. You'll remember Dave for sure."

3. Erik Huffman: 26, Nashville, Tennessee; musician, modelJeff’s take:"Erik is a throwback to old-school politeness. When we cast him, [Survivor: Africa winner] Ethan went through our heads. He's humble, quiet and a nice guy. There was something refreshing about him being exactly what he said he would be."

4. Ashley Massaro: 28, East Northport, New York; WWE SmackDown Diva, beauty queen, reality-show hostJeff’s take:"Ashley is definitely fit. She told me in casting, ‘On a daily basis I get thrown from 15 feet in the air and land on my back. I think I can push some coconuts around. Put me on the show.' She's strong and she's mouthy and she spends a lot of time running around in very little clothing."

5. Michael "Frosti" Zernow: 20, Chicago; film student, parkour expertJeff’s take:"He's a good kid who brings something new. Parkour is a mix of gymnastics and martial arts. When we saw his tape, we thought he could just fly over some of our obstacle walls. We've never had somebody that had his kind of physical gift -- he'll do a backflip when he's bored. And he's a sharp kid, too. He gets it."

6. Sherea Lloyd: 26, Atlanta; fourth-grade teacherJeff’s take:"Sherea is a fish out of water here, but she's a fighter. She is another person who will tell you what she's thinking. Sherea and a few others made me see the beauty and power of announcing who you are and being that person, because that makes you identifiable."

7. Jaimie Dugan: 22, Columbia, South Carolina; college studentJeff’s take:"Jaimie is a sorority girl and she's proud of it. The flip side is that's she's very bright. She speaks her mind and she actually makes some sense. She's very flirty, and she's good at it. I knew early on she was kind of the tribe mediator. She can hold her own -- she's definitely not wimpy."

8. Steve "Chicken" Morris: 48, Marion, Virginia; former bouncer/fish breeder/logger turned chicken-farmerJeff’s take:"They don't make a lot of guys like Chicken anymore. He's an old-school, hardworking guy who knows what it is to build a shelter, get firewood, build a fire, try to catch fish -- and then have lunch. If you put him around people who aren't his age and don't have his work ethic, he doesn't understand. He's going to have to adapt and it's not an easy task."

Big Brother's Jen Explains Her "Jenius" Strategy

After a week of bad behavior, Jen Johnson was evicted from the Big Brother house last Thursday, surprising most viewers only in how long she'd lasted. (Jen had been on the block three times in a row earlier in the season). The 23-year-old "fun nanny" for Vanna White's kids was characteristically open about why she went off slop and what she really thinks of Dick and Daniele.

TVGuide.com: You said that you just didn't fit in at the house. Why was that?

Jen Johnson: The rest of the house [guests] were much more into the game spirit rather than real-life spirit. I was there to experience the games, or wear a unitard, or make friends. Everyone else was two-faced and backstabbing and liars. It was like, "I don't want to be friends with these people," so I'd rather just be by myself. But then, how horrible is that?

TVGuide.com: You always said you were there for the experience, not the money. What kind of experience did you have?

Jen: It was quite enjoyable — it's fun to win competitions and be a part of something, and I also got the unitard. How often can you wear a unitard around and it's cool?

TVGuide.com: You were the first person on slop ever to break their food restriction. You said you did it because you were mad at Big Brother. Why?

Jen: I was previously told it was OK to destroy Dick's cigarettes, and then when I did it, I was told that they were going to replace them. I was really upset that I had gone through all that hassle, that I was going to deal with Dick being upset with me, and that I got nothing out of it. So I was like, "I'm just going to eat!" It was the only thing I could think of. But the sad thing is, I really did like being on slop. I actually gained weight on slop. It's kind of like lumpy, chunky oatmeal.

TVGuide.com: So in the end, did you have fun being on the show? J

en: The parts that were Big Brother-involved, like the competitions, were definitely really fun. But I didn't enjoy everyone's deceitfulness.

TVGuide.com: What do you think about going into sequester?
Jen: At first I wasn't too happy with it. But at least I get books, and I'm going to try to learn Spanish on my iPod. It'll adjust me so that I'm not, like, completely in the world all of a sudden. It's my halfway house for the world.

TVGuide.com: Looking back on it, was Nick playing Daniele? Or the other way around?

Jen: Daniele has a boyfriend of two years — she lives with him, they have a dog together. And then she found her second true love? Nick was on the rebound, he had just been cheated on by his ex-girlfriend, so he was definitely looking for someone. He wasn't playing her, but I’m not sure if Daniele was. She says that they're just friends, and we all know they're not.

TVGuide.com: Are you mad that Daniele backdoored you?

Jen: I'm her biggest competition, so I think she knew that the only way to get me out was to backdoor me. It is lame, because she was like, "I have your back until the end," and the next week she gets HoH and puts me up? She'll do anything to win. That's why I'm done with those people. I don't respect her in any way, but I see why she did it.

TVGuide.com: How did you handle all that abuse from Dick?

Jen: I actually felt bad for Dick; he came up with a lot of his anger out of nowhere. I think he's an unhappy person and he doesn't know how to deal with it, so he takes it out on other people.

TVGuide.com: About some of your other housemates... what's your impression of Amber?

Jen: She's just kind of confused. She freaks out all of a sudden, then she's crying, then she doesn't get things, then she's really nice, then she's really mean.... She's all over the place. [Update: On Sunday, HoH Jessica nominated Amber and Zach for eviction.]

TVGuide.com: What about Jameka?

Jen: I definitely like her. She tries to make everyone a better person. I know people are like, "Oh, she's all godly," but she's really cool, she's funny and she's always willing to make fun of herself and stick up for what's right.

TVGuide.com: And Eric?

Jen: He's playing this game hard; he has studied every single reality show since he was born, apparently. Him yelling me out the door was basically him pretending so it looked good in front of the other houseguests, so he can say, "Jen hates me" at the end when I'm doing my voting. But then he leaves me a nice to-go message.

TVGuide.com: What's the story behind those "Jenius," "Jensa," etc. T-shirts?

Jen: My friend always calls me a Jenius. Before coming into the house, I bought 50 packs of letters, and I made a million shirts. But Jenius was my favorite, because it's the most funny, no matter what. It would be funny even if your name wasn't Jen, because you're spelling "genius" wrong. It marks me perfectly.

Canadian Idol Performance Show Aug 27th

Each of the top 4 Idol hopefuls sang 2 songs this week and their special guest star mentor was Paul Anka. Only 2 more weeks before Canada crowns their next Canadian Idol.

Carly Rae Jepsen's first song was My Heart Belongs to Daddy by Ella Fitzgerald.
I didn't like it at all. At times she reminded me of Marilyn Monroe. You know that breathy sorta singing. For me it just was not good at all. Horrible.
However the Judges loved it saying it was her kinda thing, nice performance, best she has done all season, Zach was a bit less enthusiastic about it saying needed to sizzle more and that it was just okay.

Carly's second song was I've Got it Bad and That Ain't Good by Mel Torme.

I felt it was better than the first but still I really didn't like it at all. During some of the more emotional parts of the song it sounded like high pitched whining and I wanted to change the channel badly.
Once again the Judges ate it up. They called it vulnerable and emotional, she sold the song, really believable, fantastic rendition and killer.

Jaydee Bixby's first song was Fever.. The Elvis Presley Version.
I felt that it was just not the right song for him. The song takes a lot of sensuality and serious emotion. Jaydee doesn't have that kind of vibe. Predictably he turned it into another Elvis impersonation even down to the leg twitch and facial expressions. Other than the leg twitch he just kinda stood there singing and working really hard at not smiling.
The Judges said he didn't look comfortable, Zach told him to leave the competition and go to Nashville, bad groove, at least he didn't smile.

Jaydee's second song was When Your Smiling by Louis Prima.

Ugh another Elvis impersonation. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Elvis but I am getting a little bored of each week it being the same thing for Jaydee. I understand that he likes Elvis but you can still sound country without sounding the same on every song. His leg twitching and facial expressions were annoying. He danced with one of the backup dancers and looked ummm dorky. His vocals aren't bad but he really does not belong in this comp. Fly him to Vegas Idol please.
The Judges said it was a believable performance, looked like he had fun, really good job, killer, old school, Zach said that when America discovers you your gonna blow up (I think he is very wrong but we shall see), they were impressed and overall thought he did a good job.

Brian Melo's first song was Mack the Knife.. The Robbie Williams version.
I thought he had a smooth sound in this song and it was really nice. I enjoyed the performance. He was enthusiastic and his vocals were right on.
The Judges were very impressed as well saying the performance had attitude, looked like a star, loving what he just did. Zach said there were some weak moments but there were some really cool moments.

Brian's second song was Feeling Good by Michael Buble.

Another wonderful performance. He has lots of personality and his voice is nice. I like it best when it is raspy but he seems pretty versatile.
The Judges said he owned the stage, was a great performance and Zach said he sees the winner of Idol and it's Brian.

Dwight D'eon's first song was I Get a Kick Out of You by Frank Sinatra.
He looked very very uncomfortable and nervous. There were some really rough moments. Actually I have to say the whole thing was rough for me. He does not have a crooners voice. It was shaky and bad.
The Judges didn't see him as a crooner either, it wasn't his thing and didn't look like he was having fun, told him to relax and appreciated the effort.

Dwight's second song was Unforgettable by Nat King Cole

Anyone see a problem already?? When I heard he was singing this I knew it was a very bad decision on his part. There were lots of songs to choose from. There had to be something that was more suited to his voice or type of singing. Basically I have the same comments for this performance as I did his first. It was very rough, shaky and just plain icky. This is definitely not his week.
The Judges said it was a valiant effort, don't know if he will be here next week. Most didn't comment on his vocals they choose the easy way out and commented on how nice he looked. That annoys me a lot. When they talk about the clothes or shoes a person is wearing instead of the important part.. The vocals...

In my opinion Dwight should go home this week. And again Brian is my pick to win.

BB8 Sunday Episode Recap 08/26/07

After the re-cap, Big Brother looked into the romance that's brewing between the petite Jew from New York, and buxom blonde from Kansas. They look like they're headed in the same direction, but Jen left Amber a message on the way out, "Don't forget to tell Jessica." Amber told Eric, that the message was to tell Jessica that Eric has a girlfriend outside the house, her name is Sheryl. Amber tells Eric and Jessica the message and after a brief chat, the only one that ends up not being trusted is Jen.

Jessica gets her HoH room for the second time, pictures from home, and the pink shirt that says "Booyah!" The shirt is so funny. Booyah! is her father Joel's favorite term of excitement. And it is a way to give a shout out to her family and show excitement around here. "I got lots of good stuff." beams Jessica.

The next segment shows the break-up of the Donato family reunion. Dick is once again faced with a cranky daughter. "So what's wrong? Do you want to talk about it?" Dick asks her. "No" she whines. "Why that attitude?" Dick says. "I'm sick of your farting. I'm sick of your rude comments. I'm sick of everybody in this house" and there is no place to go to get away from them. She continues, "I'm sick of your parenting. I'm pretty much sick of everything. So there you are, you asked." she snaps at him. "OK then, I'll give you your space." Dick replies calmly, and leaves the room. Alone, Daniele gives a sigh of exasperation. The other HGs heard the uproar and felt it was staged for their benefit as a strategic move. http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1043976Tja7T5Q6

Next it's the HG's first luxury challenge. The teams were boys vs. girls. In this luxury challenge the HoH doesn't get a free ride, Jessica will compete with the other girls. In the SR, there were uniforms for all the players. Everyone put on their uniforms and met by the sliding glass doors. In the BY was something that looked like a tennis court with two big hoses pumping in foam. Jessica hosts, "Who wants to win a Big Brother shopping spree! In order to do that you will have to get into your birthday suit." This news was not music to the ears of any of the HGs. Amber comments from the DR, "Oh my god, these guys are going to see me naked. My boyfriend is going to kill me."

Jessica: "Here is how it works: The suds will poor down on you, on the inside of each article of clothing is the letter of the alphabet. You need to remove your clothes to find the letters that spell out three words related to the Big Brother 8 competitions. By clipping the clothes on the clothesline you must arrange the letters in the correct order. The first team to correct all their clothes on the line and spell the words correctly wins a two minute shopping spree! Houseguests it's time to use those suds to earn new duds."

The guys did terrible, the girls won and while still naked jumped up and down and hugged each other. Jameka comments from the DR: "Everything waving, flopping. It was liberating!" Jessica: "Congratulations, ladies! You will feel like a million bucks putting on all these new clothes because that's the only way are you going to be able to keep them. You will have two minutes to put on as many of the clothes as you can. Whatever you are wearing after the two minutes you can keep." Inside the house were racks of clothes and the girls just went crazy putting things on over their heads, stuffed down the middle, or tied around their necks. Everyone seemed very happy with the items they won. See the video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1043985Ep3K7yrr

Next, Amber wants a shot at "Top Model." Jameka: "You know what, you are going to be in a magazine." Amber: "Huh?" Jameka: "You are going to have a cover page. Are you going to be in a magazine." Amber: "Jameka, get off." Jameka: "Remember what I'm telling you right now. You are. 'Top Model.' 'Top Model,' would you want to do it?" Amber: "Uh-huh. I have the hair and the face and the personality." [Said while stuffing pretzels in her mouth.] Jameka: "I could see you on the cover of a magazine." Amber: "Oh, no doubt. I would love to pursue, you know, like modeling. Like I know I have a really pretty body and my face, you know, I know I could get somewhere in the modeling field. Plus the way I talk and you know, I'm not shy. I'm very outgoing. I could do something with that. You really have me thinking that something is going to come out of this for me."

Eric gets his next task, get Amber nominated. Eric's really pleased with the task, because he thinks it's be an easy chore, and it was.

At the nomination ceremony, Jessica gives her speech: "This is the nomination ceremony. This game has gotten harder and harder for me each week because the relationships that I have built with people in this house have gotten closer and closer every day, every conversation -- every competition. There are some people in the house who I have had ups and downs with. There are some people in the house who I have stayed consistently up with. There are some people in the house who have been there for me since the second I walked in the door. Now, with that said, let the nominations begin. Eric, you are safe." Eric then removed Daniele's key, Amber, Jameka and Dick's keys followed. Jessica: "I nominated you, Zach, and you Amber, for eviction this week. Zach, I've gotten close with you as we've been here, but I just feel like with all the people in the house, they have been there from the beginning or we've talked strategically more from the entire game. Amber, I have gotten closer to you but there are other people in the house that have been here there the entire time. So I nominated you. With that said, this meeting is adjourned." See the video: http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1044038TEPQKspS

From the DR, Zach comments: "I was shocked because I thought her and I had a pretty good understanding. I've actually got to finally work this week to stay in the house." Amber, speaks to God from the DR: "Hey, God, it's me. I don't want you to think that, you know, I'm doubting or I am mad at you because I'm not. I love you, God, and God bless you. Help me be strong."
Eric's next task: After two months together, it's time for Eric to take one of his relationships in the house to the next level. Which houseguest do you want Eric to kiss? It's your choice, America.

An Interview With Jen

The Slug might have to cancel our summer tour because "Big Brother 8" is giving us a case of "severe exhaustion." On last night's episode, Jen Johnson participated in an unruly cigarette tug-of-war with Dick Donato. Then, she completely disregarded her food restriction. Let's see what the evicted houseguest and second jury member has to say about her physical altercation, penalty vote and who she thinks should win the game.

The Slug: You said you weren't on "Big Brother" for the money. What did you want from the experience?

Jen Johnson: I'm really always up for trying new things. I'm very competitive. I thought it'd be a fun learning experience. I like to try out new things.

The Slug: In their parting messages, some of the houseguests said they thought you were self-centered. How did that make you feel?

Jen Johnson: I think that was just Jameka. She just said that was her first impression of me, but when she got to know me, she found out that I was actually a good person. I think that's the first impression that I give off, but once you get to know me, you know who I am and know that I'm not.

The Slug: What was the biggest challenge of living in the house?

Jen Johnson: I guess having absolutely nothing to do would probably be the biggest challenge. No, there's multiple: not having your friends and family that you see on a regular basis, not knowing what's going on with your life.

The Slug: Why do you think Dick targeted you so much?

Jen Johnson: He got to everybody else. When he tried to get to me, it didn't work. So I think he just tried something new and kept on trying. And since nothing would ever crack me, it just made him even more mad and he couldn't handle it.

The Slug: Tell me about your physical altercation with him this week. What happened?

Jen Johnson: What had happened is right before that part that was shown, Dick was blowing smoke rings in my face, and I was like, "Stop blowing smoke in my face!" And he was like, "Well, what are you gonna do?" I was like, "I'll take your cigarette out of your hand." And then I went to grab his cigarette out of his hand. I was just trying to grab his cigarette out of his hand.

The Slug: Did he burn you?

Jen Johnson: It didn't burn me. He definitely tried to poke me with it. Whatever. I don't think it actually burned me.

The Slug: Were you putting on a front in the house or were you always being yourself?

Jen Johnson: I really think I was being myself. Obviously, in my normal life, I don't have people like Dick in it. If that was someone that was ever in my life, I would not be associated with them. So maybe interactions with him were as normal as my outside life is, but other than that, I'm pretty much how I was.

The Slug: Why did you decide to eat when you were supposed to be on slop?

Jen Johnson: What had happened is that before I got on the show, I didn't like smoking. And I [told the producers], "If there's smokers in the house, I'm gonna throw all their cigarettes in the pool." And Big Brother was like, "Yeah, whatever, that's fine." About two weeks ago, I destroyed his cigarettes, but I only destroyed three packets of cigarettes because that's all I could find. He was like, "Ha. Ha. I hid the rest of 'em." Two or three days ago, I found the rest of the cigarettes, so I hid all my stuff. I put them in a trash bin, and then I got yelled at. They were like, "Now we have to replace them." And I was like, "But you said I could do that." And they were like, "But you can't." So I was just really upset that I had wasted all my time and energy to piss Dick off for no reason, so I was really, really upset that I wasn't allowed to destroy his cigarettes when I was told I was going to be able to. I didn't know what to do. I was upset with Big Brother so I just ate to get back at them.

The Slug: How did you feel about Big Brother's penalty vote?

Jen Johnson: I didn't really think much of it. After I ate, the other houseguests were in such shock that it didn't matter if I had a penalty vote or not. So I was like, "OK. I'll have an extra vote. That'll be funny when it's six to zero and I get voted out with more votes than there is people in the house."

The Slug: Are you a member of Chill Town?

Jen Johnson: (Laughs.) That's funny. In that, do you mean I know Mike 'Boogie'? Yeah, I do.

The Slug: Did Chill Town coach you in the game?

Jen Johnson: No, not at all. They didn't even know I was gonna be on the show.

The Slug: So you're not a member of Chill Town?

Jen Johnson: No. I could probably go and apply though.

The Slug: Now that you're on the jury, how do you feel about going to the sequester house?

Jen Johnson: At first, I didn't really wanna go. And I was kinda upset about it. Now, I think it will be fine. It'll be exciting to be able to read and listen to music. I have "Learn Spanish" on my iPod, so I'll probably learn Spanish.

The Slug: What qualities will you look for in judging the winner of "Big Brother 8"?

Jen Johnson: I honestly don't think that anyone left has any qualities that I would vote on, so it's basically gonna be who's left that's not the worst. I obviously know that my vote will not be going to Dick, no matter who's against him, just based on the fact that he should've been kicked off the show for his violent intimidation. Other than that, it's all pretty much fair game.

The Slug: What do you think the perception of you as been outside of the house?

Jen Johnson: I'm not sure how I've been portrayed. Obviously, I was there 24 hours a day for the past 55 days. There's only three one-hour shows a week so I kinda don't know how I look. In general, I'm normally always happy. I'm down to do whatever there is. I'm honest. I'm a good competitor. I hope everyone sees that.

The Slug: Lastly, What was your biggest regret in the game?

Jen Johnson: As far as the game, my biggest regret is not voting Dick out over Dustin

America's Next Top Model Cycle 9 - Meet The Models

The CW has revealed the identities of the wannabe models that will be strutting the runway on this fall's ninth season of America's Next Top Model.

Like the show's last four editions, Top Model 9 will feature 13 girls and a judging panel comprised of show creator Tyra Banks, supermodel Twiggy, photographer Nigel Barker, and runway expert J. Alexander. As in previous seasons, Top Model 9 will also feature additional special guest judges. Art director Jay Manuel -- who served as the host for this summer's recently-concluded second season of the show's Canada's Next Top Model adaptation -- will also return for Top Model's ninth season.

Top Model 9's cast ranges in age between 18 and 22 and includes nine students. The ninth-season cast is also unusually Northeast-focused -- four of the finalists are from Connecticut or Massachusetts, and two more are from New York and New Jersey. Rounding out the cast are two girls from Texas and five other girls from California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, and Indiana. Unlike the show's last several seasons, Top Model 9 will not debut with a special two-hour broadcast. Instead, due to The CW's decision to move the previously-announced September 26 premiere of its new Gossip Girl drama up a week, Top Model 9 will now premiere with a one-hour broadcast that will air on Wednesday, September 19 at 8PM ET/PT. (Gossip Girl -- a teen drama that is being produced by The O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and narrated by former Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell -- has apparently begun generating enough buzz that the network decided it didn't want to have to wait an extra week for the show to begin to serve as Top Model's new Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT lead-out.)

Due to the change to a one-hour premiere format, Top Model 9's September 19 broadcast will not end with the elimination of the competition's first finalist. Instead, the premiere will only chronicle the semifinals casting process that has traditionally comprised the first hour of Top Model's two-hour season premieres and will conclude with the judges selecting the ninth season's 13 finalists.
As the show has done since Top Model 4, Top Model 9's girls lived in a posh Los Angeles mansion during the already-filmed show's production. The ninth edition's winner will receive the same prize package that was first introduced in last fall's Top Model 7 -- a management deal with Elite Model Management, a $100,000 contract with cosmetics company CoverGirl, and a cover story and six-page fashion spread in an issue of Seventeen magazine.

Back in May, Banks had teased that Top Model 9 would represent "a whole rebirth of Top Model that I can't talk about right now," however no subsequent "rebirth" plans were ever announced by The CW. The network confimed that Top Model 9 will not feature any significant format changes when contacted by Reality TV World on Thursday. According to Top Model's The CW publicist, Banks was likely referring to then-undisclosed plans to move the show back to New York City -- a move that last month, the network announced will occur beginning with the show's tenth season -- when she made her "rebirth" statement.
The 13 women competing on the ninth season of America's Next Top Model are:

Ambreal, a 19-year-old college student from Dallas, TX -

Bianca, a 18-year-old college student from Queens, NY -

Chantal, a 19-year-old student from Austin, TX -

Ebony, a 20-year-old nursing student from Chicago, IL -

Heather, a 21-year-old college student from Valparaiso, IN -

Janet, a 22-year-old aesthetician from Bainbridge, GA -

Jenah, a 18-year-old student from Farmington, CT -

Kimberly, a 20-year-old student from Ocala, FL -

Lisa, a 20-year-old dancer from Jersey City, NJ -

Mila, a 20-year-old recent college graduate from Boston, MA

Saleisha, a 21-year-old receptionist from Los Angeles, CA -

Sarah, a 20-year-old college student from Heath, MA -

Victoria, a 20-year-old college student from New Haven, CT

Big Brother Thursday Recap

Drama, live eviction and HOH comp.

The night started off with reactions to the POV ceremony. Jen was upset of course but Jameka was really happy. With Jen on the block she felt that her own chances of staying in the house another week had just gotten a lot better.

After the ceremony Dani offers to talk to Jen if she wants. Jen tells her "I wouldn't have done that to you." In the DR Dani says that Amber and Jameka aren't a threat but Jen on the other hand is a loose cannon and a bigger risk to keep in the game.

Dick follows Jen into the exercise room and tells her that everyone was put off by her saying from day one she didn't care about the money. Lots of people in the house really need/want the money. He tells Jen not to be bitter towards Dani. Jen says Dani wasnt getting her vote not matter what. (Guess she is talking about if Dani makes the final 2 then Jen won't be giving her a vote to win).

Jen then goes to the HOH to see Dani and ask her why she was nominated. Dani explains that it was strategically the best move. Tells Jen and they are both two of the biggest and best competitors in the house. Also tells Jen that she has tried to get Dick out and Dani can't have that happen. Jen brings up that she helped to save Dick last week and that was heard. Jen starts to cry a bit and tries to hold it back while saying she is fine. Dani tells her it't not personal. Jen leaves.

Amber and Dani get called to the diary room so they can go on the trip they won in the POV competition.

Jen tells Jameka that she can't go to sequester. She would just die. Jen says so what, I don't go I lose my vote big deal. Jameka in DR says that so many of the HG's have given up a lot to be there and for someone like Jen to take it so nonchalantly and not want to fulfill her obligations is degrading to the game.

Jen goes and hides her clothes. Dick notices and thinks she is just packing in preparation for the eviction. Jen then goes in the kitchen and starts cooking turkey burgers even thought she is suppose to be on slop. Dick goes in the BY with the other HG's and tells them that Jen has already packed and is cooking food. They all look kinda dumbfounded.

Jen goes outside and the other HG's ask her why she is cooking when she cant eat it. She says and what if I do eat it? Jameka tells her not to get this far in the game and start doing crazy stuff. Dick tells her to knock herself out and do whatever she wants. She happily agrees. Dick tells the others she is just doing this for attention.

Jen goes into the supply closet and puts bleach by the trash can. Then she goes and finds Dick's stash of cigs and takes them into the supply closet and starts to rip them up and putting them in the trash can. When she has destroyed 4 cartons of cig's she pours bleach on them. This is why she packed up and hid her clothes. She knew Dick would be mad and would take her clothes.

In the BY Jess has a psychic moment and tells Dick that maybe Jen packed up her clothes because she was going to do something to his cigs and she didnt want him to take her clothes. He decides to go and put his cig's in the HOH room. Of course they are already gone and he gets pissed and confronts Jen. She pretty much ignores him. They both go back outside. He tells her to go and cry some more. Eric can't believe that Jen actually took the cigs. Jess asks Dick how many did she take and they are shocked when he says 4 cartons. Jameka, Jess and Eric all look at each other nervously.

Dick goes in and finds Jen's clothes. He locks them in the HOH room. Jess tells Jen that Dick took her clothes. In the kitchen Dick tells Jen that she is such a baby. Just because she got out played she is acting out. She tries to say she just found his cigs but he doesn't buy it and tells her he has her clothes and that she has nothing and will have to go out wearing the same smelly rags she has on now. Then as he is walking away tells her that nobody is going to miss her.

Jen goes out in the BY with a turkey burger, bowl of cottage cheese and an apple. She tells them that she will now perform eating. The other HG's are shocked. Jen at one point looks emotionally unstable and teary eyed. Zach says that he has a big problem with people who cheat or bend rules of the game. Eric in the DR talking about Jen shoving food into her mouth and that she must have gained 5lbs in 30 secs. LOL He says he was dumbfounded.

Jen gets called into the DR and BB gives her a penalty vote for violating the food restrictions. So bascially she has an automatic vote against her this week.

Dick still pissed about his cigs taunts Jen some more. They are outside by the sofas and he blows smoke in her direction as she is eating an apple. She gets super pissed hits him and tries to grab the cig out of his hand. He tells her to not touch him again. She tells him to not blow smoke in her face. He is sitting on the sofa and she is standing right in front of him at this point and he blows smoke out and she starts grabbing for the cig again. He warns her she is going to get burned and she does. She starts to cry and say that he is burning her on purpose. Jameka drags her off to the bathroom where Jen washes her hands and there are no burn marks on her hand.

Now we get to see Dani and Amber on the plane to NY and then at the tv studio being preped for their appearance on Power of 10. The show flew out 1 person for each of them who is going to sit in the audience and support them as they play this game. For Dani they flew out Nick (surprise surprise) and for Amber they flew out her cousin Katie. I thought the moment where they are getting their hair and make up done and Amber tells the make up artist that the audience is going to love her because she is always so upbeat. This coming from Wamber struck me as funny. The Power of 10 Episode with Dani and Amber will air at 8/7 central on Tuesday of next week.

Julie now talking to HG's live. She asks Amber and Dani how the day of freedom was. Amber said it taught her to value things she didn't before and helped her clear her head for the game. Dani said was a nice way to rejuvenate and get away from some people in the house for a bit.

Julie asks Jen how it feels to make BB history by being the first person to break food restriction rules and get penalty vote. She said she thought she had already made history. But that bascially she was mad at BB and acted out.

Now Julie tells Eric he has some explaining to do. Everytime he loses a bet we get to see a certain side of him. Then they show clips of him in woman's clothing. She asks him if he is like this outside the house as well. He says that this is pretty much him.

Julie talkes to Dani in the HOH room. Asks her who she credits with her and her Dad's comeback last week. She gives credit to a lot of people. Says started with her Dad winning the POV. Says that Jess and Eric were the keys to getting Dustin evicted and she is very thankful to them. Julie asks if at some point in the game will she turn on her Dad. Dani says she wants to be in final 2 with her Dad because she feels that she would have a good chance of winning.

Nominees get last chance to appeal to other HG's for vote. Jen is first and she says that she has always been a happy, positive person who is honest and obviously she doesn't fit in here. She says she was happy to come to the BB house and now she is just as happy to be leaving. Jameka says she is grateful to be in BB house and wants them to keep her this week and hopefully long term because of her game play and her promises to some.

Live voting. 6 (1 penalty nom + 5 HG's) to 0. Jen is evicted from the BB house.

Jen half heartedly hugs Amber, Jameka, Zach and Dani. She tells Dani sarcastically "glad you had my back" Dani responds with "glad you told lies.". Eric says Jen as happy as you are to be leaving we are happier to see you go. Jen says "That's perfect". Amber tells Jen not to forget to tell Dustin what she told her to tell him. Jen says don't forget to tell Jess what I told you to tell her. Amber says she didn't know what she was talking about. Dick is super happy with this eviction of course.

Outside of the house with Julie Jen says that she is a very random person in real life. You never konw what your going to get with her and that it is usually positive but in these circumstances you really never know how it will go. Julie asks her what her strategy was. Jen said she never really had one. She just wanted to learn from others and teach others good things. Said she knew she would have to be backdoored because that was the only way they were going to get her evicted.

Julie asks Jen if she thinks Dick's behavior is strategy or really how he feels. Jen said either way it's not appropriate or true. Says anyone who knows her knows that 95% of the things Dick said about her were completely ridiculous.

Goodbye messages. Jameka said she had a bad first impression of Jen but eventually realized that Jen's intentions were good. Eric says some nice things and Jen rolls her eyes. Dick says this is long overdue, she should have been gone a long time ago. Jess calls her a great competitor and thats why they had to backdoor her. Zach wishes her well. Dani apologizes adn says it sucks that she went out the way she did because Dani thought that Jen had more integrity than she showed this week. Amber for once didn't cry.. I am shocked.

HOH Comp. Each competitor is sitting in their own dunking booth. They are asked q's by Julie about the first 5 evictees. A or B answers. If they get it wrong then Jen gets to push the button to dunk them and they are eliminated. Last person left wins HOH. 1st eliminated is Eric, 2nd is Zach and Amber, 3rd is Dick.. Jess is the new HOH.

Can't wait to see who she noms.. Should be very interesting..
