the best thing to come out of the writers' strike

it was said that big brother could only happen during the summer because the fall/winter schedules are too full for a 3 day a week, one hour show like big brother but luckily for all of the die hard big brother fans out there the writers' strike makes it a perfect situation to dust off big brother and bring it back for a special winter edition.

sure we may be bombarded with sucky sitcoms, dramas, and movies that execs pulled from the dusty backs of their shelves but we'll be so glued to our live feeds and the TV show itself we'll hardly even notice!

this may even turn out to be a blessing for CBS. i don't know about you but i have way more evening time to kill in the dead of winter then in the summer when i'm torn between the feeds and swimming at the lake. plus in conjunction with the new survivor season this could be a ratings one, two, punch.
