Survivor China - Episode Two Recap

stepping up as co-leaders at the previous night’s Tribal Council, Dave and Peih-Gee attempt to organize the Zhan Hu tribe and camp. But as Dave ruthlessly rejects his tribemates' suggestions, imposing his own ideas over theirs, Erik begins to sense dissention in the tribe. "It could get to point where people start getting fed up and start talking about Dave and how they don’t necessarily think he’s a good leader anymore."

the Fei Long camp, Todd and Amanda form an alliance and then agree to bring Aaron in as their third. However, they have an ulterior motive. "We decided to pull Aaron into our group so if anyone has to take the rap for anything then it’s going to be on Aaron," explains a mischievous Amanda.
Meanwhile, Aaron, the tribe’s faithful leader, calls a tribe "pow-wow," singling out Jean-Robert and demanding he start pulling his weight. The professional poker player artfully apologizes for his lack of production around camp, but while alone, he lays his cards on the table. "I wanted to give the perception that I was a little bit lazy so that later on when I am contributing and putting in the work effort, people are noticing, ‘Hey this guy’s doing beyond his normal capabilities.’ I can only go up from here."

With a minimal shelter in place, Dave launches his tribe into their next task of the day--building an elaborate fire pit. With most of the tribe frustrated, tired and hungry, Ashley suggests they start a fire and cook rice first. "We got the flint last night at Tribal Council and we haven’t even attempted to make a fire and we’re starving," complains Ashley. "It just seems like we take the longest route possible to make something happen. I’m losing faith rapidly." Fed up with Dave, Ashley protests the fire pit, igniting a screaming match with Dave. "I don’t want to fight with Ashley," says the aggravated Dave. "If she wants a fight I can give her a fight. The rest of the team is great, Ashley is… ugh."

The tribes reconvene at the Reward Challenge, where Jeff explains the rules of the game. Squaring off three-on-three in a ring of knee-deep mud, tribes will push one of two gigantic wooden balls across the other tribe’s goal, thus scoring a point. First tribe to two points wins fishing gear and a new fishing boat. In addition, a twist will be revealed at the end of the challenge.

America's Next Top Model - Cycle 9

Episode 2 - The Models Go Green

At the beginning of the show the girls discover their transporation for the competition is as green as they are as models. The green theme extendeds to their new house ...... including limiting shower times to conserve water. Of course the girls found another good way to conserve water, 12 girls in one bathtub.

The first big photot shoot is a double shot that will be made into one photo to show the dangerous and deadly side effects of smoking. Basically a before and after looking into the mirrir shot.

One surprise at the shoot was Miss "I think i'm god's gift to modelling" Ebony wasn't really good at all. She was very wooden and emotionless. I figured she's be another girl that was bitching that I couldn't stand but the judges loved that'd sail all the way to the end.

The claws are already out in full force at the shoot when Lisa and Bianca waste no time in getting catty. When back at the house they made up but in one of her confessional pieces Bianca confessed that she only said she was sorry to Lisa so it didn't come up in panel with the judges. If you ask me she's lucky Lisa didn't punch her lights out for saying a stripper would never win ANTM!

As I expected some of the girls are already giving Heather, who has a mild form of autism, a hard time and talking about her behind her back. In my opinion they're just jealous because Heather is absolutely gorgeous and photographs especially well.

For this weeks challenge the girls have 10 minutes at Old Navy to find some basic pieces to create a personal style to wear at panel, and the winner will be picked by the judges. OMG that store looked like a bomb went off after they all tore it like a whirlwind!! It was nuts. I can only imgine what the show had to pay for that was to destroyed to put back on the rack.

Back at the house Heather hears some girls talking behind her back and she calls her mom and starts to cry. It really breaks my heart because I think she's so brave to do this competition despite the fact that her disabillity makes it very difficult for her to deal with social situations. And other then jealousy I can't figure out why the girls are being so mean, why would they care if she was quiet and kept to herself. It's not a social situation reality show where if you're isolated you get voted out, it's a modelling competition and as long as she can do that who cares!

After all the girls have their personal evaluation of both their photo shoot picture and the outfit they picked for the Old Navy Challange it's announced that Saleisha won the challenge and her prize is a shopping spree and she gets to do an Old Navy Photo shoot. Also at Tyra tells the girls that this will be a non smoking cycle of America's Next Top Model.

The suspense begins ... Tyra stands in front of the girls holding one less picture then the number of girls and every girl is hoping their picture comes out of that pile because if it doesn't they're gone. The first picture is given to ........ *insert dramatic pause* .... HEATHER! Tyra tells her that her and the other judges were blown away by her and I couldn't be more proud! When it's down to 2 pictures Tyra asks the two remaining girls, Mila and Ebony, to step forward. After explaining what put each of the 2 girls in the bottom 2 she reaches for the last photo ...... and it's .... Ebony!! That really sucks becausea she rubbed me the wrong way right from the beginning. Until next week .... stay beautiful ;)

Dancing With The Stars - Say Bye Bye!!!

The first elimination always seems to be the hardest for the celebrities. Of course the first elimination is usually the one that is of no surprise because there always seems to be at least one celebrity that can not dance no matter what.

Last nights show starts with the encore dance. Len gives a lengthy speech and during his speech, I actually thought they may choose Helio as the encore dance. But the Cheetah Girl, Sabrina and her parnter, newbie Mark got the nod and rightfully so. They had the best dance of the week hands down (with or without the hip hop). And indulge me a minute, while I am talking about hip hop, whey did Sabrina and Mark get chastise for the hip hop in their dance while Mel and Maks did not? And Albert and Anna had an awlful lot of free style in their dance. Just wondering.Sabrina and Mark did another awesome job with the encore dance. Go Cheetah!!!

After they dance, we get to find out who is safe out of the women. No shocker here, Sabrina and Mark are safe as are Jennie and David. I'm glad both of these couples are safe, because I like both of these women. (Go Kellie Taylor...lol)

Our first musical entertainer of the year is Dolly Parton. I have to say, I like Dolly. She is so funny and very very talented. And man do I wish I had her........waist! She sings 9 to 5, an oldie but goodie while we get to watch Cheryl, Derek, Mark and Julianne dance. I love watching when the pros dance.

Next up is another game of who's safe, this time with the guys. We learn that Helio and Julianne and Albert and Anna are safe. Albert is a shocker somewhat, because I thought he could have been in the bottom two.

Next is a new segment sponsored by Macy's, Stars of the Dance. I have to say I enjoyed this segment. We had Savion Glover, the world's best tap dancer and man oh man was he awesome. My daughter tap dances and she loves it but I have to say we were both watching with our mouths hanging to the floor. The shoes were a little much but this guy can tap. If you get a chance to watch the online video of this, do it. You won't regret it. WOW

Our next round of safe celebrites is Mel and Maks and Cameron and Edyta. Give me some more Cameron please.....lol

What would Dancing W/The Stars be without Kenny Mayne.....better! Tonight's Kenny segment is him trying to find the origin of dance. This was filler and I much would have rathered seen some of the pros dance. Kenny's segments are as bad as Jimmy Kimmels were last year. Come on produers if you want to add humor find someone humorous! We also get a segment from the judges about just how hard it is to perform the first week. More filler, but much better than Kenny. I personally would rather learn more from the judges about ballroom dancing, so this filler they could keep. More behind the scenes would be good too...hello producers are you listening.

Dolly comes out to sing another song, a new one off her new album. I think I heard that the name of the almun is Backyard Barbie???? LOL......I actually liked this song as did my 11 year old....biggest shocker of the night...lol

Now comes more elimiations and they waste no time (unlike the time they wasted with Kenny). First up on the safe list is Jane and Tony, followed by Mr. Vegas and Dancing Queen Wayne and Cheryl and next is Marie and Jonathon. I guess the Osmonds got their votes in...lol

With that, we learn that Josie and Alec are in the bottom two, no surprise there although I do feel bad for Alec. Our last round of "who's safe" tells us that Floyd and Karina are safe which means that Kym and Mark are the other couple in the bottom two. Now this was a shocker to me. I really felt as if Floyd should be in the bottom two. Mark was better.

One last commerical break and we come back to the elimiation of Josie and Alec. No surprise. She took her exit graciously and I loved when Alec told the fans that voted for them to now give their votes to Cameron and Edyta (in case you did not know it, Alec and Edyta got married recently).

The show closes with their final dance and all the other celebrities and pros offerring their sympathy.

I only have one more gripe with ABC. If I hear one more time, will this be the first year a girl wins I will scream. Did they forget their first winner was a woman....Kelly Monaco and Alec...hello!!!

Well, that's all folks, until next week......

The Boys Are Back - Dancing With The Stars

Written by "tinkcrzy1972"
http://www.tvgrapevine.com/index.php/topic,15554.msg88632.html#msg88632

The boys may be back, but did they bring their A game? The ladies sure threw down the gauntlet last night, with one of the most impressive first week totals in the history of the show. We'll see how the guys do as soon as they finish.

Cameron Mathison with his professional partner, the newlywed Edyta Sliwinska, are up first tonight, with the foxtrot. Edyta has that alluring newlywed's glow, and has never looked so beautiful. She makes a stunning partner for Cameron. I'm sure having him as a partner this year has something to do with her infectious smile, what with the legions of fervent fans he brings from All My Children. I've been joking since they announced him as a contestant that if they run across a dance he can't do well, all he needs to do is take off his shirt and he can get a 10 from Carrie Ann! After seeing him dance, though, it doesn't look like he'll need to go to those extremes. He has a great carriage and frame, excellent posture, and has among the best extensions I've ever seen from a male celeb on here. He's also a good, strong lead, something that not too many of the guys can truly pull off so early in the game. Cameron and Edyta scored 7,7,7 tonight.

Second this evening is boxer Floyd Mayweather with his professional partner Karina Smirnoff. Both are cream of the crop in their fields, but how will they gel as a team? Floyd seems to have some real commitment issues early on in the training, and it takes Karina calling him out on it and then leaving a training session to bring the man to his senses. Thank goodness he decided to start listening to her coaching, this woman isn't a champion for no reason. I have to admit that I didn't like Karina much in her first season with the show. Floyd is certainly a step up from Billy Ray, but he's no Mario! I think he's going to need to lighten up his frame and learn how to be a partner to Karina instead of showboating and showing off. She's his teammate, not his opponent, and if he doesn't change his ways, it will make it much harder for this pair to advance in the competition. Floyd and Karina had scores of 6,6,6 for their cha-cha tonight.

Next up tonight is IRL driver Helio Castroneves, paired with the champion from last season, Julianne Hough. Early on we see what wonderful chemistry they have together, and Helio is quite charming, as well as a hard worker. I think this is another supercouple in the making. Helio makes the foxtrot look effortless, and that winning smile of his is sure to win over a large number of voters. Out of the guys he is my favorite for dancing (Cameron gets the nod for looks...lol). And Julianna looks awesome as always! They receive scores of 8,9,8.

Albert Reed and Anna Trebunskya are our next couple to tackle the cha cha. I've missed Anna on the show very much the two seasons she was gone to compete with a new partner. I've always enjoyed when she and husband Jonathan Roberts performed together on the show, and I loved her dynamic with Jerry Rice in season 2. I wish I could say that I loved Albert, but as pretty as he is to look at, he's just not doing anything for me. He is a ok dancer, though, with fantastic hip action. He and Anna get 7,7,7 tonight.

Mark Cuban and partner Kym Johnson are the last foxtrotters of the night. Kym was the runner up last season with partner Joey Fatone, and partnered Jerry Springer in her first season of the U.S. version of the show. Mark is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, best known for getting into trouble with the officials in the NBA. There is some early concern about his hip, as he had hip replacement surgery just 7 weeks before starting his training for the show. I have to say that Mark was much better than I thought he would be, and I liked him more than I wanted to going in. He was very light on his feet and was clearly having a blast out on the dance floor. Its hard not to respond to that. Mark and Kym had scores of 7,7,7 tonight.

Our last couple tonight is Wayne Newton with two time champion Cheryl Burke. Cheryl looks really great, she's grown her hair out over the break from the show, and it suits her. She's trying so hard to help Mr. Vegas shine, but he doesn't make it easy. Wayne is very heavy on his feet, and doesn't follow through on his extensions. Don't even get me started on the lack of hip action! I so had high hopes for Wayne but after last night I get the feeling that Cheryl won't be around until the final much less win. Wayne and Cheryl get scores of 6,7,6 this evening.

Well, tomorrow night is the big night, someone is going home. Unfortunately, it looks like that someone may be Josie Marin and partner Alec Mazo. Poor Alec was the first to go last year, I really hope that I'm wrong. I think we may be surprised and see either Floyd Mayweather or Jennie Garth in the bottom two. Oh well, guess we'll all be finding out together tomorrow night, see you then!

Ladies Night - Dancing With The Stars

Written by "tinkcrzy1972"
http://www.tvgrapevine.com/index.php/topic,15520.msg88253.html#msg88253

Whoo hoo! Its ladies' night to kick off the fifth season of Dancing with the Stars. It seems like I have been waiting forever for it to be time for this, instead of just a few months. I missed this show so much, and even more so once So You Think You Can Dance was over for the summer. Drew Lachey is pinch hitting for Samantha Harris, who delivered a baby girl early on Sunday morning! Congratulations Samantha!

Our professional number to open the season is a real stunner tonight. I'd venture to say it was even better than last year's. I wish they had told us who the choreographer was, but if they did, I missed it. Anyone else catch that cartwheel move they worked in there? It amazed me when Pasha and Sarah did it on SYTYCD, and it amazed me again tonight. Its just such a cool move!

During the celebrity intros after the pro number, Cameron Mathison nearly bit it coming down the stairs, and Wayne Newton didn't look to sure with his footing either. Could it be that the women may outshine the men this season? We'll see over the course of the next two nights, as all the couples dance either a cha cha or a foxtrot.
First up tonight is Kelly Taylor. Oops, sorry, I mean Jennie Garth. Her professional partner is Derek Hough, a newcomer to the show, and the brother of last season's winning pro, Julianne Hough. Jennie looks very uncomfortable throughout the practice footage tonight, and I'm not sure about the chemistry with these two. She does better during tonight's show, though, and I really rather like Derek. He reminds me quite a bit of Brian Fortuna, one of last year's pros that wasn't asked to return. Jennie and Derek danced a cha cha to Uptown Girl, and she's not bad, but needs to be a lot more crisp in her footwork and lines if she makes it to next week. The judges score them as 7,7,7.
Wow! They remodeled the backstage interview room. Gone is the garish red from seasons past, replaced with rich, opulent blues and a pale gold. Its nice to see them pay attention to details like that.
Second tonight is model Josie Marin, with her pro partner, newlywed Alec Mazo. Oh boy, does Alec have his work cut out for him with what I can see of her in the practice footage. Its amazing he and Edyta could take time out for the wedding with as full as it seems his hands are with this girl. Josie is a beautiful girl with a stunning smile, but she's more than a bit of a klutz, unfortunately, and isn't as physically fit as you would think with her profession. Sigh. This is not good for Alec. He went home first last year with Paulina, and she seemed to me to have a lot more talent. The combination of lack of name recognition and her awkwardness on the dance floor may see this couple in the bottom two on Weds night. Josie and Alec received scores of 6,5,5 for their foxtrot.

Drew is doing such a great job in the interviewer's slot, can we keep him for the season, please? I like Samantha very much, but she doesn't ask intriguing questions. I think that because Drew has been on the other end, he has a better feel for how to approach things
Next up is Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan. My daughter, who is 11, are excited about her being on the show. She's paired with another new pro, Mark Ballas. For those of you not familiar with him, Mark is the former professional partner of last year's champ, Julianne Hough. There is something about Mark that I'm not really liking, but it could just be me pouting because both Louis and Brian were passed over to give Mark a chance to be here. They got a great song for their cha-cha tonight, Don'tcha from the Pussycat Dolls. Sabrina is very good, and her footwork is very precise. I thought the addition of hip hop of risky and although I liked it, there should have been less of it. I had a feeling that Len wouldn't be happy with it either. The crowd tonight is going wild for them, so I don't think Sabrina is in any danger of going home this week. They get scores of 9, 8, 9.

Marie Osmond is our next dancer tonight, with her partner Jonathan Roberts. You may remember Jonathan as the pro paired with Heather Mills last year. I'm quite fond of him, I think he does a remarkable job making his celeb partners shine. Marie seems to be quite the jokester during the practice footage, and Jonathan has a hard time getting her to focus at first. Once she knuckles down, though, it looks like she could do well. ALL RIGHT! THIS is what I was wanting last year from Leeza. She's poised and elegant, with great lines, and makes the dance look effortless. The crowd seems to love her, as well. I hope she can do as well with the Latin as she has with the foxtrot tonight. Marie and Jonathan scored 7,7,7 tonight.
Mel B is up next with my beloved Maks. Gee, it looks like the show has finally figured out that Maks is a popular man. They got one of the prime music selections tonight, the song they have for their cha-cha is one that was used on the tour for a cha cha as well. I also noticed that Mel and Maks had the nicest of the practice areas, and Len was a lot kinder than he was in the past. Mel is VERY good! She combines the best of Willa and Laila in one package, and I look for this team to go far. They score 8,8,8 for their cha cha tonight.
Last, but not least, is Jane Seymour with her pro partner Tony Dovalani. These two are just adorable together, the affection between them already is just so sweet. Jane and Tony seem to be genuinely enjoying working together, and there is a real joy in their dancing. Their foxtrot this evening was effortless, all light and fluffy, like frosting on a cake, but with real backbone in the choreography. I'm very relieved to see Tony with a good partner and someone he is having so much fun working with. They receive 8,8,8 for their foxtrot.

Okay, that wraps it up for tonight, folks. I'll see you tomorrow, while we watch the men duke it out for ballroom supremacy. Hope you'll join us!

McSteamy Bachelor - Premiere Episode Recap

Meet sexy Bachelor Brad Womack, a 34 year old entrepreneur and identical twin who owns four bars with his brothers in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Brad says he's "an everyday, hardworking guy who's looking for his soul mate." Brad grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. His family went from riches to rags when his parents got divorced and his mother relocated her family of three boys to a small town in Texas. Upon graduation, Brad realized college wasn't for him, so he went to work on an oil rig for the next eight years. That taught him the self discipline to go into business for himself. Now, he has everything he wants in life, except a wife. Even though he's a millionaire, he's looking for a woman to whom money doesn't matter. And yes, he's looking to get down on one knee and propose at the end of the series! He arrives in Los Angeles, at the Malibu beach house that will be his home base for the next six weeks.

Meanwhile, the 25 Bachelorettes are literally bouncing on their beds at their hotel in their excitement to meet Brad, about whom they know nothing about! First out of the limo is Sheena, who asks Brad for a hug. She tells him she looks forward to getting to know him. Next is Jenni, who's wearing a short black dress. She's from Kansas, and lived in Dallas for three years, she tells Brad when she learns he's from Austin. He says, "We're going to get along already."Brad says Kim's multicolored dress is "beautiful," and he asks her if he can "steal a hug." She's holding her shoes in her hand because she was worried she might be taller than him. (She isn't.)

Sarah tells Brad she's heard wonderful things about him, but that she still didn't know his name was Brad. "We were trying to read your lips in the limo," she says, and had guessed his name was "Brian." She then gives him a hug.Bettina, wearing a short, silver dress, appears more demure than the rest of the Bachelorettes. He tells her he likes her name and asks her for a hug.Brad tells Jessica that she looks beautiful in her long blue dress. She says, "They told me you were hot, but I didn't know I'd need a fire extinguisher!" He tells her, "That makes two of us."Dark haired Morgan makes Brad laugh with a funny hand gesture and gives him a hug. She asks him how excited he is right now on a scale from 1 10 and he answers, "12!" "Me too," she smiles

Rigina, in a short, red dress, introduces herself as "Miss Brown Sugar," then adds that she's just kidding. She tells him she loves a man with an accent.Brad tells curly haired Erin he likes her smile and she gives him a kiss on the cheek. She asks him if he's a sports fan and when he says he is, she tells him she can't wait to tell him how she broke her face playing football four months ago. "And you're still this beautiful?" he exclaims.Tauni greets Brad with, "Hey, handsome." She asks where he's from and tells him she's from Minneapolis, but she lived in San Antonio for a while and has a good friend who lives in Austin.DeAnna tells Brad hello in Greek. She says she's nervous and has him feel the pulse at the base of her neck.

The next Bachelorette introduces herself as "Juli, without the 'e' at the end." He responds that he's, "Brad with a 'd,'" and they both laugh. Since she's from the Windy City, she blows him a kiss.McCarten, wearing a short, pale yellow dress, gives Brad a hug. He tells her he likes her name and she says it's Irish. She also tells him she had good dreams about him the night before. He says he can't wait to talk to her inside.Susan asks Brad to remember, "I'm the girl in the silver dress," and does a full 360 degree turn so he can admire it.Blonde Lindsey from Michigan tells Brad, "So far, so good," and asks that he "makes sure" he he talks to her inside.Kristy shakes Brad's hand, then goes in for a hug. She asks him if he's feeling stressed out and then tells him she's an acupuncturist, and she'd love to give him a treatment if he needs to relax. She then asks for one more hug.

Solisa takes both of Brad's hands in hers. He's astounded when she tells him she's also from Austin, Texas.Estefania introduces herself as "Steffi" and gives him a kiss on the cheek, saying that's how they do things in Argentina, where's she's from. She lives in Atlanta, but says that she's an "international citizen of the world."Hillary tells Brad she's a nurse from Philadelphia and she hopes to "take his vital signs" inside. He admires her dress and she tells him she loves his blue eyes and hugs him.Brad kisses Lori on the cheek and tells him it's great to finally know his name and not just "The Bachelor."Natalie tells him she's "almost speechless" to see how good looking he is.

Mallory greets Brad with "Aloha," and tells him she's from Oahu. She says her heart is beating "so fast," and he pulls her in for a hug.Michele tells Brad she's from New Jersey and gives him a hug. She tells him, "you're everything I'm looking for," and that she's going to be the girl he falls in love with, "you just don't know it yet."Melissa tells Brad he looks "sweet," and he jokes that he has everyone fooled.Brad says that Jade is a beautiful name and twirls her around and then she twirls him! She asks him if he believes in love at first sight and he says, "Now I do." She tells him he has "gorgeous eyes."

Now that he's met all 25 Bachelorettes, Host Chris tells Brad that inside is a First Impression Rose that he should now give to the one girl Brad is sure he wants to stay. Chris advises him that'll mean his choice is safe, but it'll also create jealousy and competition for her.Brad goes inside and the women all cheer him. He announces that they've all exceeded his expectations and thanks them for being there. He notices that Kim has put her shoes on in the meantime and tells her she looks beautiful. In their private interviews, Jenni notes that "Southern gentleman is so my type," and Hillary says her heart is "pitter pattering" over how hot he is.

His first one on one chat is with DeAnna, from Georgia, who tells him she feels like "the countriest person in this place," but he says he loves her accent. She's impressed that he takes off his jacket and puts it around her shoulders because it's cold. He asks if she's close to her family and she tells him her mother, who died of cancer when she was 12, was the strongest person she's ever known. She's a real estate agent who also bartends at night. He tells her they're going to get along really well.Bettina, who lives in Hermosa Beach, tells Brad she hears he wants to learn how to surf and that she can teach him. He says meeting a surfer girl is "like a dream come true."Acupuncturist Kristy doesn't mean a kiss when she tells Brad she wants to do a "tongue diagnosis" of him, but rather a reading of his energy, according to Chinese medicine. He obliges by sticking out his tongue and she reads some stress in the redness along the edges. He insists she stick hers out next, and he diagnoses "some stress, but much more happiness."

Hillary asks Brad the most outrageous thing he's ever done and he says, "Meeting 25 beautiful women in one night." Hillary says her most outrageous thing is breaking her nose on a bowling ball which is funny since Erin (of the "breaking her face on a football" anecdote) is sitting on Brad's other side!Inside, the rest of the women fret that they won't get the all important one on one time with Brad, so Jessica, who's a journalist, decides to be proactive and go "interview" Brad, interrupting his time with Hillary and Erin.Jessica asks Brad "What is one thing people may not know about you at first glance?" He tells her that he worked in the oil fields for about 10 years. He then asks her the same question and before she can answer, Susan interrupts with "Breaking news! The Bachelor's been kidnapped," and whisks him away.

A waiter brings in one red rose on a silver tray and places it on a table where the women were just discussing that 10 is "a big number" of Bachelorettes to be sent home immediately. Michele declares that the show is "too serious" about the rose and when Brad asks if they should be doing "cartwheels and dance" instead, and Jenni says she'd love to be dancing. Brad confesses to the camera that Jenni is the one who stands out in his mind because he loves how she laughs at everything he says. She gets up and does a dance, to Brad's delight. Michele is annoyed that she helped boost Jenni's status by encouraging her to dance for Brad.Lindsey who also gets Brad's coat because she's cold offers to sing a song for him, so she half sings, half speaks "The Yellow Rose of Texas," since she just handed Brad a yellow rose.Inside, the women are dancing like crazy without Brad. Bettina notes that "some girls are partying their booties off."

A seemingly tipsy Tauni shows Brad her "vibe," which is really just her backside.Juli decides that to get the First Impression Rose, she'll have to do her "Human Pretzel" routine but first she puts on long pants under her dress so she can bend her legs behind her head without flashing him! McCarten declares she wouldn't have done that and pronounces the stunt "awkward."Jade finds someone's stray "boob," a gel insert, and places it on the table. Melissa admits that it's hers, and that she's "trying very hard to be bigger boobed," but gives up and takes out the second one.Jenni decides that, from a scale of 1 10, the odds of someone passing out tonight because they drank too much is "probably a 9."

Alone with Brad, Melissa drunkenly babbles about how sweet she thinks he is.Morgan decides "desperate measures" are called for and shows Brad her webbed toes! Recounting the incident to the camera, Brad is laughing so hard, he has to wipe the tears from his eyes. The other women's jaws drop when Mallory one ups them by showing up in a bikini for her one on one time with Brad.He can't help but notice when Mallory goes into the pool behind him. He walks over to her and says, "Now I think it just turned into a party. Beautiful woman, beautiful pool." He confides that he wanted to jump in with her. "I think you should take your pants off," she tells him. Instead, he just rolls up his pant legs and dangles his feet in the water. She's pleased at having gotten his attention and isn't upset if the other women are jealous.

Brad excuses himself and goes inside to retrieve the rose. With every eye on him, he walks over to Jenni who's still wearing his jacket and gives it to her, after telling her he loves her smile and he loved her dance.Jenni says she was not at all expecting to get the rose. The other women confess their jealousy, but when Jenni enters with the rose, they clap for her.Host Chris tells Brad and the assembled women that that's it for tonight and in the morning, Brad will decide which 15 he's keeping, and which 10 he's letting go. In the "deliberation room," Brad looks over the women's photos to help make his decision.

Chris says he thinks Brad had a connection with DeAnna and Brad agrees she's a "vision."Brad was impressed with Lindsey's serenading him and was amused by Kristy's tongue reading. He admits that Melissa had had too many cocktails and that he prefers a woman who knows her limits. He also says that Julie's pretzel stunt was "a little strange" and he still doesn't know what to think of Morgan and her webbed toes!Chris welcomes the women to the first rose ceremony and congratulates Jenni on getting the first rose.

Brad gives roses to:
Jade

Melissa admits it's a hard blow, being cast off on the first episode and doesn't have any idea what she did wrong, tearfully saying she just wants to go home.Brad toasts "to a heck of an adventure" with the remaining 15 Bachelorettes.

The Bachelor Bachelorettes Revealed

ABC has announced the identities of the 25 women who will compete for the affection of Texas bar owner Brad Womack on The Bachelor's eleventh installment, which will premiere Monday, September 24 at 9:30PM ET/PT.

Womack, a 34-year-old Austin, TX bar owner that the network describes as "a successful, self-made entrepreneur," has also earned the nickname "The Bachelor's own 'McSteamy'" from ABC

After spending eight years working in oil fields Womack began bartending with his twin brother Chad. Eight months after he began tending bar, Brad, Chad, and Wesley, a third brother, purchased their first bar. Womack was 28 years old at the time of the 2001 purchase. The brothers have since purchased three more bars in the last three years. Like earlier The Bachelor editions, the reality dating series' eleventh season will begin with Womack -- who lived in a Malibu "bachelor pad" during the show's production -- meeting his 25 suitors during a cocktail party.

Many of the women -- who are "knocked off their feet by the sexy, handsome Bachelor," according to ABC -- will apparently stop at nothing to make a memorable first impression on Womack, from a news anchor who interviews him "anchorwoman"-style to an acupuncturist who diagnosis Womack by "examining" his tongue. The bachelorettes also don't waste anytime in trying to woo Womack, and their methods could be considered bizarre, as a professional cheerleader performs a routine for him; a law student contorts herself into a pretzel; a fellow Texan presents him with a yellow rose before singing "The Yellow Rose of Texas;" a graduate student reveals she has webbed toes; and a tipsy event planner goes on the hunt for a lost breast enhancer that doesn't actually exist.
All of this leads up to Womack presenting one of the 25 women with the show's "first impression" rose before eliminating 10 of the 25 women, leaving 15 to compete for his affections. Over the course of the competition he'll get to know some of the women better, taking them on dates such as a rendezvous in San Francisco and a helicopter ride to a secluded rooftop. However it's not all fun and games, as suitors will be eliminated each week by Womack. The Bachelor's eleventh installment will premiere immediately following the debut of Dancing with the Stars' fifth season. Beginning October 1, The Bachelor will deflate back into its normal one-hour format and air Mondays at 10PM ET/PT. As in previous The Bachelor editions, Chris Harrison will serve as the show's host;
The 25 bachelorettes appearing on The Bachelor's eleventh installment are: -

Bettina, a 27-year-old realtor who currently resides in Washington, DC -

Kristy, a 29-year-old acupuncturist who currently resides in Chicago, IL -

Lindsey, a 25-year-old model who currently resides in Livania, MI -

Show Recap Sunday 09/16/07

Tonight's show is a clip show, beginning with the end, Dick and Daniele's victory. As Dick and Daniele settle down to eat a special victory meal from BB, they reminisce about that first day in the house, and some of the bad days that followed. After one of their dysfunctional moments, Dick tries to make things better, "I am a good person. I love you very much. Don't I don't ever, ever, ever, ever want to go back to where it was, ever. And I will do everything I can to keep that from happening. And I promise you that. And all I want is a commitment to you that you will just try. It has to start somewhere. It will take a little time and a little work but we can fix it. I love you so much. If you will ever know what a huge, empty space has been in my life without you. I think about you every single day. I never abandoned you and I never will. I might not be the greatest dad in the world but I'm trying. I never give up trying. Can I have a hug. Please. I love you very much, Daniele."

They wonder which of the two the jury will vote for. Dick tells Daniele that they'll vote for her, because she didn't individually attack each of them the way he did. They showed the morning tirade when Dick was trying to insure his eviction. Dick: "Good morning, Amber. Works in Las Vegas, 'cigars, cigarettes, cocktails?' 'And that's that. And that's that!' You are a disaster on two legs. Eric, how but, my friends, the biggest liar. You got everybody working for you. You will be joining me in sequester soon. Don't you want to kick my ass right now. Are you so scary, all 150 pounds of you, oh, I'm so scared. Oh my God. Oh, princess, how is your morning? How is it waking up to pots and pans in your ear? You are one ugly bitch. I promise from the on the life of your daughter I will make you so miserable every day that you are going to regret ever seeing me. Are you such a (bleep) Amber, let's go. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Let's pray!"
Of course Dick didn't see eye-to-eye with Amber and Jameka, calling them the hypocrite Christians. Dick: "I'm not going to back off. Why do we want Zach out of the game. He's a nobody." Jameka: "Zach already knows we don't [Bleep] Get along. What is your point what is your point." Dick: "I'm sure he appreciates that kind of language." Jameka: "Oh well, it maybe a sin but you know what, but you know what, I have his salvation. You are forgiven for lying. That is why you are ignorant because you don't read the Bible, you don't know [Bleep] About the Bible. Dick: "I know more than you do."

Daniele spent the first few weeks of the game connecting with Nick. It appeared from the night vision footage that Daniele and Nick first kissed was on night 23.
The other two love-birds in the house were Eric and Jessica. But she's from Kansas, he's from New York, will he move to Kansas? She seems adamant that she's not going to NY.
Those moments to remember include Jen crying over her picture, but the moment fans and HGs will never forget Dick dumping the ice tea on Jen's head, Jen destroying Dick's cigarettes and argument with lit cigarette.

Daniele feels Amber will be best remembered for crying more than all the HGs put together, Daniele reminds Dick that Amber thought of herself as "the pretty mom." Amber thinks she Top Model material. The Donatos also recall the moment when Amber goes off on Eric for telling Dick that he knows a secret that will turn the house, the viewers and her boyfriend against her.
Next they recall Zach streaking, and drinking bets, and the fun horsing around. The the crazy challenges, and the house mysteries: The mustard and the hinky votes... Dick thinks Eric, Daniele thinks Dustin and Eric, were the voters, and either Eric or Nick was the mustard bandit.

Closing thoughts... Dick: "So between the two of us, who do you think is going to vote for you." Daniele: "Who knows." Dick: "Well, one thing is for sure, that I know that we are both going to be doing is taking a trip to Europe, Europeness, a nice European vacation." Daniele: "Not together." Dick: "I'm doing everything I've wanted to do. I'm going to Scandinavia, I'm taking an African safari, I'm doing all the things that I dreamed about doing." Daniele: "How you can do all that with only $50,000?" Dick: "Touché. Daniele: "Honestly I never ever thought that both of us would be sitting in the final two. Looking back on things that have happened this summer, I remember sitting out there telling him no money is worth this. Nothing is worth everything that I am going through. But you make the most out of it even when you hit rock bottom. And where you can be is absolutely, absolutely amazing. " Dick: "We couldn't have made it here without each other. We stuck together, to the end, never wavering. I'm glad are you my daughter. This is like an enormous chapter in my life that I have wanted to live for a very, very long time. This is the dream come true. This is a happy ending. Nobody has ever done that before."

Who will win Big Brother Eight? Dick or Daniele? And and how will the houseguests react when the America's Player twist is finally revealed? Find out on the live season finale Tuesday at 9:00PM, 8:00PM central on Big Brother 8.

Another Survivor All Stars????

CBS still isn't revealing whether next spring's sixteenth Survivor installment will be another All-Stars edition, however that isn't stopping show host Jeff Probst from teasing reporters about the possibility.

"We're going into our sixteenth season, it wouldn't be a bad idea," Probst coyly told the media during a Wednesday conference call to discuss Survivor: China, the fifteenth Survivor edition that premieres next week. Although rumors that CBS might be planning another All-Stars edition have circulated for years, more formal reports that Survivor's Spring 2008 edition would be another All-Stars installment began to surface earlier this year. According to a May report in In Touch Weekly, the second All-Stars edition would only feature castaways from the seven Survivor editions that have filmed since 2004's Survivor: All-Stars edition occurred (Survivor: Vanuatu; Survivor: Palau; Survivor: Guatemala; Survivor: Panama; Survivor: Cook Islands; Survivor: Fiji; and Survivor: China).

"No winners will be back," an "insider" reportedly told In Touch at the time. The In Touch report came two months after Probst had previously told reporters that -- although he "personally didn't want to do" and "didn't enjoy" the show's initial All-Stars edition -- he felt Survivor was "due" for another All-Stars installment. "The only thing I can say is that I've come around to understanding that even though the All-Stars we did was a pain-in-the-ass from a production point of view, it was one of our best seasons," Probst reiterated to reporters Wednesday. "And it was our best season because we had our best people back. I get that." According to Probst, one of his biggest All-Stars gripes was the swelled heads some of Survivor's first All-Stars edition participants developed during their second go-around on the show. "I wouldn't be looking forward to necessarily doing another 20 all-stars," Probst explained Wednesday, "because I know the minute you call them an 'all-star,' suddenly the contract has four-page rider on it that they need their green M&Ms removed."

On Friday, a CBS spokesperson told Reality TV World that, despite Probst's comments, the network will neither confirm nor deny any information about Survivor's sixteenth edition. Regardless of Probst's personal feelings about the concept, one thing is certain: Survivor's first All-Stars edition was a success in the area that television networks care the most -- the ratings. Survivor: All-Stars' post-Super Bowl premiere in February 2004 achieved ratings that the series had not reached since the finale of 2001's Survivor: The Australian Outback and it instantly became the highest rated entertainment broadcast of the 2003-2004 television season. It continued to do very well -- consistently averaging more than 20 million viewers throughout its run -- and ended with 24.8 million watching the May 2004 finale and 28.36 million watching the reunion show that saw Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich (the season's winner) fuse into "Romber."

However if Survivor's next season is another All-Stars edition, don't expect it to finally be the long-running show's frequently-discussed Canadian-set edition. "Not in winter," Probst said when asked about the possibility of filming a Survivor edition in a non-tropical location. "I mean we've talked about it. I think [Survivor executive producer Mark Burnett] is pretty against winter, simply because if you're talking snow and cold -- from a production point of view -- it would be very difficult. And as human beings, you tend to just hibernate. You're not going to frolic in the water or go off into the woods and talk strategy." However Canadian Survivor fans can still take solace in the fact that their country may still eventually serve as the setting for an upcoming fall edition of the show (Survivor's fall editions typically film in July and August). "We have talked about going somewhere in the spring that might be rolling hills of grass, or like somewhere in British Columbia, where you get just a completely different look," said Probst. "I mean you've got streams and lakes instead of oceans. We have talked about that. I think that has a chance of happening because Mark seemed pretty into it."

If Survivor's Spring 2008 edition is an Olympics schedule-like revisitation of the show's Spring 2004 Survivor: All-Stars format, CBS isn't likely to be able to keep the show under wraps for more longer. Based on the show's previous production history, Survivor's sixteenth edition is likely to begin filming in November.

Thursday Live Eviction Episode Recap 09/13/07

No BS tonight, Julie gets right to the matter at hand: "Welcome to Big Brother. It's day 76 in the house and we're down to the final three. Who would have thought Dick and Daniele, the estranged father and daughter team would make it to the homestretch? Tonight we'll find out if Zach has the physical and mental strength to take on the dominant duo. And by the end of this hour, the final most powerful HoH will be crowned. That person will then evict one of their house mates live deciding who they will take to the final two. "

"But first when we left Dick, Daniele and Zach they had just begun a competition called 'The Bunny Hop.' And while they thought it would be a walk in the park, little did they know it would become one of the most physically and psychologically challenging competitions in Big Brother history."

From the DR, Daniele says, :"Going into this competition I told my dad if it has anything to do with cold water I'm absolutely doomed." Julie: "Houseguests, how are you doing so far?" Daniele: "Fabulous." Julie: "Well, hold on tight, because you know what it takes to keep it a garden lush. That's right, it takes lots of rain." Daniele: "The water was honestly the coldest water I've ever felt in my life. It felt like melted snow falling on me."

Daniele tells Dick to distract Zach, Dick starts his verbal tirade, here's the clean version: "How did you fix that little -- that little with Jameka? 'Awfully white of you,' Zach. How did you explain that? I want to know. What about the other comment that you would like to own a midget. That was another really good one. Come on, Zach. You're quite a guy. Come on, do the teeth thing. You always do it when you are nervous. Those big old broken piano keys of teeth, your dad's a dentist and you got teeth like that? Got awful quiet all of a sudden. Come on, Zach, you don't have nothing to say for yourself. You had a lot to say the other day with your [Bleep] speech. The problem is that you have confusion when it comes to fantasy and reality. In your brain it's all confused. The game that's been played in the house is not the game that's been played in your head. Nothing to say, Zach? Come on, say something. You're -- you got something to say, you always do. You had quite a speech the other day. "

Dick's taunting only seemed to make Zach stronger. Zach laughs like a maniac, "Come on. I feel good. I'm not moving! Yeah, yeah! I got 40 tattoos to make myself mean! [Zach mocking Dick] "
Daniele is out. She's shivering and crying. Dick tells her no to worry. She bundles herself up with towels and runs inside for a hot shower. When she comes out of the shower, she returns to the BY. Wrapped in a blanket, she whispers words of encouragement to her father, "Remember, when one of us can't come through, the other one always does. You've got it. You know Vincent is watching you right now." Dick: "I know." Dick: "And I'm sure he's extremely proud of you. Right here, Vince. We're going over. Come on, old man. You've gotten this far. You're doing amazing. So good."
Daniele: "How are you doing? You can't move it? Can't you just stand there or no? You are doing so good. Are you okay?" From the DR Daniele comments: "Watching him up there in so much pain, freezing cold. I know I could hardly move his legs. It sucked. It sucked!"
"Oh, don't quit, don't quit. I know, I know. I know. I know. He's in a lot of pain. I can see. Because he doesn't have anybody here for him. And nobody cares. Hang in there. You're okay. You waited three years for this. Three years. For what, to go out like Kail? No. For this. For this. 74 days. Only a couple left. Whatever happens, it's OK. It's OK. It's OK. It's okay. It's okay. If you can't do it, it's OK."

At 2:20AM, Daniele tells Dick, "Whatever happens, happens." With that Dick lets go of the key and is out of the first part. From the DR, Daniele: "He stood out there for eight hours, this 44-year-old fart is what I call him. Of course it would have been nice to sweep Zach right out of the competition. But I'm still extremely proud of him, what he did. And it's OK."
Zach wins Part 1. Zach, gracious in victory, tells Dick he was incredible. Daniele brings Dick and Zach a stack of towels.
HoH Part Two: Julie: "Welcome back to Big Brother. After a grueling seven and a half hour face-off with Dick, Zach won the first part of the HoH competition. Automatically advancing to round three. Now father and daughter compete against each other. "

Daniele: "I walked out into the backyard and I saw two really big tanks of water. Building into it, I'm thinking 'OK, I can do this. It might not be that hard.' [Reading from the instructions] Welcome to 'Chain of Command.' Before you are two tanks. In one tank are the pieces to a puzzle. You must collect these pieces and transfer them to the other tank where you will assemble the red lines in order that the houseguests held head of household. The houseguest that correctly a essentials the puzzle in the shortest amount of time will move on to compete in round three where they will face-off against Zach to be the last head of household of Big Brother 8.' Once the time started I ran up the stairs, ran into the little tank and started grabbing the puzzle pieces. I'm not very good at like puzzles like that. So I was a little bit nervous." Daniele completed the puzzle, next it was Dick's turn: "Going into this competition, no one was looking to throw it. Which means that one of the other of us is competing against Zach."
In the end Zach revealed the scores: "Let's see who the winner of the second part of the HoH competition is. The winner will face me in the third and final HoH competition. And Daniele, your time is 24 minutes and 9 seconds. So Dick, let's see your time. 12 minutes and 48 seconds." Daniele: "That's embarrassing." Dick :"No, it wasn't easy. It was hard." Zach: "Dick, you won the second part of the HoH competition. Are you facing me." Dick: "I'm ready, man."

Julie: "Daniele at the end of the Bunny Hop competition, you showed incredible compassion for your dad. Ten weeks ago did you ever think you would have those feelings for your him? " Daniele: "Honestly, no. You know, coming in here, have said it a million times, you know, honestly I probably thought in the beginning that I really wouldn't care if he left at any time. It wouldn't have mattered to me. But coming in here, you know it doesn't change a lot of the things that have happened outside of the house. But it is definitely a steppingstone and you know, I'm definitely ready to look for the positive." Julie: "Nice to hear. Dick, not only did Daniele take you off the block a few days ago in round one she gave you permission to step down and let Zach win. How did that make you feel?" Dick: "Well, her telling me to step down it -- it didn't -- I don't know. The permission t didn't, like, really give it to me to do it. It was my legs were killing me. I was just done, man. I don't know how I stayed up there that long. Daniele was the reason I stayed up there as long as I did, for sure." Julie: "Zach, Dick verbally assaulted you for hours during the competition, yet you never lost your temper. How are you able to tune him out?" Zach: "You know, I mentally just, my legs were numb also and so I was just -- my whole body just got numb and basically my brain was numb too. So I just didn't really hear anything he had to say." Julie: "Thank you, houseguests. I will be back to talk to you a little later."

At the jury house, Eric and Jessica are more in love than ever. The other jurors have tried to give them some privacy. Jameka joins the jury and Dustin is quite disappointed it's not a Donato walking through the door. Jameka shows the DVD of the nomination ceremony. If you look carefully, you'll notice that it's only Dustin that verbalizes disappointment over Dick and Daniele's success, and cheers Zach on for making the speech about having the muscle to get the Donatos out, and maybe the others don't share Dustin's opinion, I found it hard to tell. The answer will be either A or B. It is up to you to decide how you think the jury completed that statement. For every correct answer, you will get a point. The houseguest with the most points at the end of six questions will be crowned the final head of household. Are you both ready? Good luck.
Question one: Amber said, the moment in the house that irritated me the most was: A: When Jen cried about her picture. B: Being handcuffed to Kail. " The Correct answer was A, giving Dick one point. Zach, got it wrong.

Julie: "Welcome back to Big Brother. Just minutes ago Dick became the final head of household. Now he must choose to evict Zach or Daniele, automatically ensuring the other houseguest's spot in the final two. All right, houseguests it's important that we go through the formal step of this final eviction. Zach, Daniele in just a few moments, Dick will cast his vote to evict. You now have a chance to plead your case. Zach, are you up first."
Zach: "All right. Dick, I don't expect you to use this. I played against the best of the best. I lost to the best. Hopefully when you guys are winning all that crazy cash in the long run, you will think about investing in my inventions. Good job, way to go." Dick: "Thanks." Julie: "Thank you, Zach. Daniele -- what would you like to say?" Daniele: "What a summer! Night and day, who would have thought that we would have worked so well together. I know I wouldn't have. I honestly don't believe I would be here without you. I honestly don't know if you believe you would be here without me. But we're an amazing team, and I would be absolutely honored to be sitting next to you in the final two."
Julie: "Thank you, Daniele. Thank you both. Just a reminder, the evicted houseguest will have only a few moments to say good-bye, gather their belongings and walk out the front door. Dick, please stand and cast your vote to evict. There is no decision. Zach, you are out. Me and you, Daniele. We won this whole thing! It's done!" Julie: "It is official, Zach, are you the last person to be evicted from the Big Brother house." Zach: "Don't agree with your methods but it worked. Way to go, dude." Zach explained his method of gameplay to Julie. Julie showed the goodbye messages, and although not flattering, Zach was pleased enough that they had some warmth, and no hostility.
